C	Carmela Papappicco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo di Santo Spirito, è molto esteso; comprende tutta quanta la cittadina, dal suo lato marittimo Esso, ha inizio, dal braccio del Porticciolo, cui attraccano i Pescherecci, e prosegue lungo l' intera rotonda del Porto, per poi, superata questa, proseguire ininterrottamente, sino a Santo Spiriticchio: cioè, alla punta più estrema dell'altro capo della Litoranea: 2 Km. e oltre, costeggiando tutto il tratto di mare al suo fianco! Nel paesino, di fronte alla rotonda del Porticciolo, attorno, attorno, simile ad una ghirlanda che l'incorona, si succedono le basse casette dai colori pastello, strette fra di loro, alternate a : Caffetterie, Pizzerie, Focaccerie, Rosticcerie, Panifici; Piazza del Mercato. Mentre, proprio sul Porto, i Pescatori, dalla pelle eternamente abbronzata, al rientro dalla loro pesca in alto mare, sulle bancarelle, vendono ai forestieri, ma anche agli abitanti del posto, i prodotti del pescato, freschissimi, e ancora odorosi di mare. Questo spettacolare, e suggestivo Lungomare, soprattutto d'estate, é meta incessante di bagnanti, e villeggianti, i quali, dalle ore più fresche della serata in poi, vi passeggino, percorrendolo per intero, e traendo, dalla lieve Brezza marina serale, che spira dal mare, inaspettati benefici, inspirandola. È un tratto di Costa questo, d'una bellezza unica: un' autentica perla della Natura; continuamente tenuto sotto sorveglianza; custodito esattamente, come si custodisce un vero tesoro!
