After we have made a reservation earlier as we arrived we only could sit outside, as a couple at a long joined table (rather windy place at that time). Menu price quality rate not ok. They surely made a fault with one of the menu’s. But although we gave a reaction to two waiters no respons of the manager. Even when we spoke him at the end during our payment. He persistent keep telling everything had been allright and that he never had complaints before…

There is lots of research behind every single action and result here. I have rarely seen in the world a restaurant of this type. From the ceramic to the extra vergin olive oil, everything is here and tailored made and for a reason. A culinary and anthropological journey not to be missed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pasta was so overcooked it was like a soup. That alone would have been manageable, but when I asked for parmigiano to add some structure I was met with a condescending lecture about how I would ruin the dish. I wouldn’t have needed to even ask if the pasta wasn’t mush.
Amazing location, but maybe try the meat dishes instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food, horrible pretentious service. Wine too expensive for quality served. Glass was full of cork and bread was completely forgotten. Water comes in carafes that are impossible to pore from. The smoking French constantly complaining couple didn't help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average food. Planned a special dinner that was supposed to be in private beautiful setting, with private waiter and some authentic local cuisine. First they forgot to setup the private room and rushed to put something together (as you can see from picture not something I would call romantic), waiter was the same one who served everyone else and food was mediocre at best. Save you money and just eat just at the main restaurant or perhaps another place in town. La bettola was quite good!
