★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inserito in un piccolo borgo ben tenuto, ai piedi del castello visitabile. La locanda offre un buon servizio con piatti abbondanti e basati sulla tradizione lunigianese con prodotti locali. Ottimi antipasti e funghi.
 Inserted in a small well-kept village, at the foot of the castle that can be visited. The inn offers good service with abundant dishes based on the Lunigiana tradition with local products. Great appetizers and mushrooms.

Il menù, molto interessante, offre i prodotti della zona e una modesta carta dei vini.
Ho trovato i miei piatti buonissimi e se non fosse che abito a 3 ore di macchina, magari ci tornerei anche!
Very beautiful location both inside and outside, surrounded by the greenery of the village of Verrucola next to its castle.
The very interesting menu offers local products and a modest wine list.
I found my dishes very good and if it weren't for the fact that I live 3 hours away by car, maybe I would go back too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place. They serve simple but awesome food and the service is wonderful. They always put the guests need first! Like when we came late and they where about to close as there where no guests there. They reopened only for our party of four. That is five star service to me!!

Prices are fair and maybe even low for the quality.
The area around the restaurant is stunning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this place since the town before doesn't have any place open. We ordered three different kinds of pasta for the first course and each of them were magnificent. They were prepared properly and cooked properly. Then we got a grigliata mista for sharing and all the meat where cooked to perfection too. The prices were fair even a little low. For finding this place by chance on a spectacular location i would definitely recommend to everyone and would go back just to try something else from their menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been at Locanda Al Castello during our stay in Fivizzano: this restaurant is so good that we have visited two nights in a row! Sgabei are a must to try: delicious! Also worth tasting are the typical "panigacci" made in the traditional way. All the dishes are in fact genuine and great, the atmosphere and the welcoming and friendly service complete the experience. If you are close Fivizzano, make sure you book the experience at Locanda Al Castello.
