★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent two weeks in the northern area of Italy eating our way from town to town, from one spectacular meal to the next. At the end of the trip we both agreed that our lunch at Al Vecchio Tino won first place. With it secluded location on top of the hill and view of the Apennine National Park, chestnuts falling from the trees, donkeys taking care of the grass, outdoor seating near a well-kept farm home and a welcoming hostess we would have been happy to stop there. But on top of all that the food was exceptional. We were fortunate to have a crystal clear fall day which may be the first prerequisite for taking the drive off the Autostrada at Alula towards Fivizzano and then Monzone. The locals in Monzone will point you to the road you need to take out of the town and from there just keeping going up and follow the signs. You can't miss it and you shouldn't miss it. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most amazing lunch within a beautiful environment of nature’s splendor. Gorgonzola and pear risotto was perfection! Fish wrapped in chestnut leaf was amazing. The painting group I was with was happily welcomed here..Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Everything. Negative: Amazing and friendly host! I could not recommend this hotel enough. It's the best hidden gem. Hotel rooms are very spacious, bathroom is very clean and the food was superb! Not to mention the breathtaking scenery..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing campervan stop with all the facilities for euro 8 per night in March. Excellent restaurant during the season, plus pool. Very friendly and helpful owners. One of those memorable places in the Tuscan mountains. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: This has to be one of the best locations for an Agriturismo with unbeatable views and all day sunshine. The pool is excellent, really good food and spotlessly clean rooms.. Negative: The main reason we went was to experience the food. Beware that the restaurant is closed on Wednesday. We didn't see this advertised..
