ll Borghetto Tuscan Holidays

Perfect! We have stayed here three times this year (April, August and September) and cannot wait to return! From wonderful apartments to beautiful scenery to amazing food and wine to incredible hospitality, there are so many things to love about Il Borghetto. We are a family of four (with to children, ages 5 and 8) and we feel so at home here thanks to the lovely Bimbo family who have taken such great care to make our visits there special. We highly recommend a cooking class with Antonella - it was unforgettable and so much fun! We highly recommend - you will not be disappointed!

The staffs were very nice and friendly .The dinner was delicious and I met a lot of friend. Staying here is really relaxing and comfortable.The staff was very helpful with prompt reply .What I would like to praise is the people who cook the dinner really worked with passion and the ingredients were really seasonal food.This apartment is good because there is a swimming pool for us to swim after a day of walking.This apartment was awesome and as good as home! We have the room facing the vineyards, really amazing!

The villa is beatufil, pool area very nice, owners really friendly and helpful. The dinner experience is unforgettable. The only dowside is wifi, which is practically nonexistent in the rooms. Otherwise we had a perfect stay.

My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights in September of 2019. I researched diligently to find the perfect place for our trip. It truly exceeded our expectations. Be sure to have dinner at the villa at every opportunity. Several of the seasoned travelers we spoke with had been there before. It’s a perfect home base for Tuscany and just down the road from our favorite village, San Gimignano. We made day trips to Montalcino, Florence and Siena. Aside from the perfect location, the villa and its surroundings are beautiful. I highly recommend this place and we are already planning our return to Il Borghetto.

A slice of Tuscan heaven!! Beautiful setting and spacious apartments. Bathrooms similar to those in USA. We loved walking around the grounds and the adjacent olive tree groves and vineyards. The owners take care of you just as if you were family. Very reasonable prices. And if you can you MUST have dinner there and ask Sandra to pick out your wines! This is an amazing place and we are repeat visitors. We stay here whenever we visit Tuscany. Only minutes away from Florence, Sienna, Chianti wine country, San Gimignano is a super quick drive for gelato. You will love staying here.

We had such a lovely stay. Everything was fine. The view, our appartment, the food, our hosts, tur pool, San Gimiano.

This is an amazing place where we want to go back, a truly authentic Tuscan experience where everything's been perfect for us: -the FOOD served to guests at dinner 3 times a week (including traditional and perfectly cooked, high quality tuscan meals); -the selection of WINES, from superb local canteens which I've added to my list of favorites; -the HOUSE we've rented: it was a completely independent 3 bedrooms with private garden; the interiors were very well taken care of in details, and there were beautiful tuscan colours and decor. The comfort was very high with a super efficient distribution of areas that makes it ideal for both couples, a large family or even for groups; -the private GARDEN: it is amazing for a coffee at sunset, or a chess game after a day out, or to read a book with a glass of wine: peaceful, relaxing, with views over the vineyards and the harmony within those vast, gentle landscapes. Even in the public areas of the Villa, there are excellent spots to relax and enjoy; -the LOCATION of the Villa, 3-4 km on a road that is worth to walk on foot, for how unique, breath-taking the surroundings are; -finally, it's worth to mention also the cleanliness of the premises, the swimming pool, the perfect harmony between the Villa and the nature around. Besides all this, the STAFF has been absolutely amazing, always ready to assist us at their best, or to share a laugh, or to provide any kind of advise: we've really appreciated how much we could feel at home during our stay at 'Il Borghetto' and we cannot thank Simona, Sandra, Nicola, Riccardo enough for their outstanding hospitality and professionalism!
