In person, Sal was engaging, patient, informative, just lovely. It was such a nice experience. Unfortunately, the pendant was lost upon our return home, much to the utter dismay of the wearer. As a surprise to this person, I reached out to Sal one YEAR later to ask about purchasing a new pendant and explained who I was. Much to my incredibly surprise and delight, they had a record of the exact pendant we had purchased! They again were patient and kind, offering me advice via email, whatsapp, and called to chat as well. It was a big purchase to make twice, but once I received the pendant in the mail after making it, I knew it was the best decision, and it will be such an incredibly meaningful gift. I can't say enough good things about Sal, Ornella, and Serra Roma. Can't wait to visit in person again!

While our last visit to Rome last week we stopped by Serra to see if they could repair. We where only in Rome 1 day before our flight home. They made sure the repairs where done that day. Excellent experience for us. Whenever we are in the market for Roman memorabilia this is the place we will go.

The owner is extremely friendly and knowledgeable -- a real gentleman. He was able to explain the historical context for all the various coins and ring styles on display. After purchase needed to do a small size adjustment, and he was super-accommodating. My wife is delighted with her ring, as am I with the whole experience. A real pleasure.

I checked every jewelry store I could find until I ended up here and they had exactly what I wanted. They have a variety of silver rings and bracelets that have authentic Roman coins embedded in them. The coins are either bronze or silver with Emperors, gods, or other presses they used 2000 years ago. Each of the pieces has an associated ID/info card that tells you more about the coin and its imprint. I highly recommend you stop by this place if you like Roman history and want something unique that has seen almost 2000 years of history.

A special piece of jewelry, that contains an ancient coin as the center piece, had the setting loosen and the coin came free. I purchased this item during the summer of 2020 and I brought the jewelry back to the store last week and they immediately set about repairing the piece for me. I was only in Rome for one day and Serra made sure that my jewelry was repaired and ready for me to pick up before 6 PM that evening! Each piece of jewelry and art in Serra, is unique and beautiful. The historical knowledge that is offered and shared about each piece is also a special touch. If you are searching for a special gift or something for yourself, I highly recommend this beautiful shop, which is located in the center of ancient Rome, not too far of a walk from the Spanish Steps.

The quality of their work is amazing and they have some very unique pieces. We purchased ancient coins as well as a ring with an ancient coin mounted in a gold setting.
