The sea and the beach are always wonderful in every season. The streets of the center are dressed up for Christmas.

Bellissime sono gli eventi che questa cittadina organizza; attrazioni per bimbi e grandi, ristoranti e spiagge attrezzate sono presenti a palate. A proposito delle spiagge, quelle di Lignano sono semplici, organizzate e spaziose. Messe anche a regole di covid.
Quiet city all year round but full of storms during July and August. Beautiful are the events that this town organizes; attractions for children and adults, restaurants and equipped beaches are present in spades. Speaking of the beaches, those of Lignano are simple, organized and spacious. Also set to covid rules.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È assurdo pensare che fino a 100 anni fa nulla di quello che vediamo oggi di questa bellissima città marittima esistesse. Consiglio di vedere Punta Faro con il tipico faro rosso in fondo al molo, sopratutto all"ora del tramonto.
Vedere il centro storico è un altro "must": è pieno di vita, gelaterie buonissime (sopratutto il gusto "pistacchio al sale con pezzi") , la fontana e il primo hotel della città.
It is absurd to think that until 100 years ago, nothing we see today of this beautiful maritime city existed. I recommend to see Punta Faro with the typical red lighthouse at the end of the pier, especially at sunset.
Seeing the historic center is another "must": it is full of life, very good ice cream parlors (especially the "pistachio in salt with pieces" flavor), the fountain and the first hotel in the city.

Nulla da dire sui servizi sia delle spiagge che dello svago e ristorazione ma piuttosto sulla pulizia della città, e gli ostacoli dati da tantissime barriere architettoniche, grande difficoltà per chi è disabile o semplicemente una madre con passeggino. QUest'anno particolarmente sporca sia per le strade che in prossimità delle spiagge Assenza di cestini per i rifiuti anche in lunghe vie in prossimità di spiagge e hotel. Sono dei piccoli suggerimenti per mantenere alto lo standard di una località che ogni anno fa milioni di turisti anche internazionali.
I have been coming to Lignano for 23 years.
Nothing to say about the services of both the beaches and the entertainment and catering but rather about the cleanliness of the city, and the obstacles given by many architectural barriers, great difficulty for those with disabilities or simply a mother with a stroller. This year particularly dirty both on the streets and near the beaches. There is no waste bins even in long streets near beaches and hotels. These are small suggestions to maintain the high standard of a location that every year makes millions of tourists, including international ones.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il presepe di sabbia è veramente un'esperienza unica. La realizzazione è particolare non trattandosi del presepe convenzionale. Quest'anno dedicato a Dante. L'ingresso è gratuito.
The sand nativity scene is truly a unique experience. The realization is particular since it is not the conventional crib. This year dedicated to Dante. Admission is free.
