G	Giacomo Pangallo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È da 10 anni che vado in questo ristorante sulla spiaggia a pranzo, era una tappa fissa, e sono veramente dispiaciuto che abbia cambiato gestione.. non tanto per il cambiamento in sé ma per il cambiamento dei piatti, del menú, dei vini e del servizio: insomma non è più il lido liberty.. da locale semplice e casereccio è diventato un locale che "prova" ad essere alternativo. Non è molto corretto non avere il menù cartaceo, non solo per poter scegliere con tranquillità ma anche per vedere i prezzi perché ogni cosa ha il suo prezzo. I vini offerti, alcuni sono di cantine locali, altri addirittura di altre regioni del nord.. e il buon vecchio vino bianco locale : inesistente. Personalmente ho preso una carbonara di pesce : uovo (crudo), pancetta, tonno, SALMONE (cosa c'entra in Calabria?) E ci era stato detto tutto pesce locale.. ci siamo fermati al primo.. al vecchio lido liberty mi alzavo dopo 3 ore con la pancia piena e dopo aver bevuto del buon vino locale il tutto servito da personale MOLTO cortese, capace ed attento alle esigenze del cliente .. peccato che ora non si possa dire lo stesso. Non credo ci tornerò ahimè.. I have been going to this beach restaurant for lunch for 10 years, it was a fixed stop, and I am really sorry that it has changed management ... not so much for the change itself but for the change of dishes, menu, wines and service: in short, it is no longer the liberty lido .. from a simple and homemade place it has become a place that "tries" to be alternative. It is not very correct not to have a paper menu, not only to be able to choose with confidence but also to see the prices because everything has its price. The wines offered, some are from local wineries, others even from other northern regions .. and the good old local white wine: nonexistent. Personally I took a fish carbonara: egg (raw), bacon, tuna, SALMON (what does it have to do with Calabria?) And we were told all local fish .. we stopped at the first one .. at the old liberty lido I got up after 3 hours with a full stomach and after drinking some good local wine all served by VERY courteous, capable and attentive to the customer's needs .. pity that now we can't say the same. I don't think I'll be back alas ..

Il locale oggi si presenta ben rinnovato nell'aspetto, esaltando la sua eccellente posizione ancor di più. Il personale è professionale e cordiale, assistendoci nella scelta dei piatti e assicurandosi che tutto stesse procedendo bene. Stesso discorso vale anche per la proprietaria, persona squisita che oltre a verificare il servizio ci ha dato informazioni dettagliate sulla provenienza delle materie prime, rispondendo a tutte le nostre domande e dandoci la possibilità di una chiacchierata piacevole a fine pasto. Abbiamo avuto modo di incontrare anche lo chef, che oltre a chiederci un parere ed eventuali suggerimenti, ci ha spiegato passaggio per passaggio la preparazione dei piatti che ci sono piaciuti di più. Il cibo era buonissimo (soprattutto i carpacci), con tutti ingredienti freschissimi e locali, fatta eccezione per un salmone fantastico direttamente dalla Norvegia. Insomma, personale egregio, cibo spettacolare, proprietari alla mano e disponibilissimi, ad un prezzo tutto sommato contenuto. 5 stelle guadagnate e confermate, l'appuntamento annuale è fisso ormai :D We ate at the Liberty twice, after the takeover. We also had the opportunity to meet the chef, who in addition to asking us for an opinion and any suggestions, explained to us step by step the preparation of the dishes we liked the most. The food was very good (especially the carpaccio), with all the freshest and local ingredients, except for a fantastic salmon straight from Norway. In short, excellent staff, spectacular food, friendly and extremely helpful owners, at a low price. 5 stars earned and confirmed, the annual appointment is now fixed: D

Uno può dire caruccio ma tengo presente che il pesce è ottimo e fresco e sinceramente magiare del pesce fresco non è da tutti i giorni sopratutto per me che amo mangiare pesce fresco e non abito vicino al mare. Buono anke il locale. Insomma a me è piaciuto e ci torno molto volentieri. Complimenti al seezio, allo chef e a tutto lo staff. Excellent hospitality Excellent food .... One can say expensive but I keep in mind that the fish is excellent and fresh and sincerely eating fresh fish is not every day especially for me who love to eat fresh fish and do not live near the sea. Pesce freschissimo, crudo e cotto preparato a regola d'arte, sublime, ampia scelta di vini. Titolari affabili e cordiali, personale gentile e premuroso senza essere invadente. Consigliatissimo! Ad maiora Elisabetta e Salvatore! If you find yourself passing along the Ionian coast, once you arrive in Brancaleone, you are obliged to stop in this enchanting place on the sea. Fresh, raw and cooked fish prepared to perfection, sublime, wide choice of wines. Affable and friendly owners, polite and attentive staff without being intrusive. Highly recommended! Molto apprezzabile la presentazione delle pietanze che unita alla gentilezza del servizio rende i piatti molto gustosi! Che dire freschezza del prodotto,gentilezza e sorriso fanno si che il conto diventi una semplice routine di fine pasto. Dimenticavo il piatto del crudo, detto da un pugliese, STRAORDINARIO! I appreciated the cuisine for the goodness, freshness and genuineness of the food. In addition, traditional local dishes were well served. Very appreciable the presentation of the dishes that combined with the kindness of the service makes the dishes very tasty!
