La proprietaria incarna per competenza e cultura il modello ottocentesco del "libraio" : amante dei libri ma sopratutto valido antagonista per scambio di opinioni. I lettori onnivori ameranno questa libreria e la sua proprietaria.

Una bella piccola libreria ma ricca di testi anche di una certa rarità. Personalmente apprezzo tantissimo tali negozi, in quanto si può incontrare tanta gente interessante e chiedere consigli; cosa che nelle grosse librerie paradossalmente è difficile. Simpaticissima la padrona e molto competente. Una certa quantità dei miei libri viene proprio da lì.

Serenella è la fata di questo luogo magico: libri speciali per bambini, ragazzi, adulti, per studiosi e per appassionati cronici di letture... Un angolo dove respiri cultura e curiosità! Attenzione: crea dipendenza!!!! ??? Assolutamente consigliato!!!! ❤️❤️❤️??????

Libreria indipendente e ormai storica, dalla ricchissima offerta di volumi dedicati alla cultura ebraica (ma non solo!) e con un'elegante, disponibile e preparata proprietaria.

Luogo pieno di bellezza. Un luogo eccezionale a Ferrara che propone una ricca e variegata proposta di libri di Storia, Arte, Letteratura. Si possono trovare libri antichi anche in lingua ebraica. Vetrine magiche. Proprietaria molto gentile. Assolutamente da visitare.

Se cercate una libreria in cui la storia, la l’arte, i romanzi e la fantasia giocano tra gli scaffali, allora questo è il vostro posto. Molto fornita sulla cultura ebraica, ha una vasta offerta per adulti e bambini. La proprietaria, persona squisita, sa consigliare con delicatezza e professionalità. È un luogo magico come se ne trovano pochi. Da non perdere!

Incredible! a bookshop.... No, more and more... . A special place where you can find always the right book... In the right moment!

LIEU DE MEMOIRE Libreria Sognalibro is a place you would - always - like to dream of. During our "photographic expedition" to Ferrara (February 2019), we were simply walking along, libreria being closed. It is sufficent to look through the bay windows, and, instantly and with force (it depends), you wish to come back - at opening hours. So we did, several times. And a wonderful restaurant, helpful, Nuvole, is close by. Take out a reservation, as we did, if you have to wait for the opening of "Sognalibro". The "Signora" running the libreria (she has a dog) is of wonderful "delicatesse", and you do not need too much words. Again, it depends ! The second time, she brought up out of her "stock" a book about the time when Wim Wenders assisted Michelangelo Antonioni, badly hit by a stroke, to finish his last film. With a lot pictures out of the film. 40 € instead of 50 €, but as they say (real) in Paris : Introuvable. ++Even for me, it is very difficult to put a kind of label on what makes up the hardly explainable "atmosphere" of Ferrara, this city close to river Po. And the heritage of Antonioni, and, may be even more important, the "spirit" being present of Giorgio Bassani, the wonderful writer. It has something of "floating", but I have not finished my thoughts ! ++ On the photograph of the central entrance door of Cimetero ebraico (in German : Eingangstor), it is important to note that the photograph was taken from inside the Cemetery. If you look at the photograph very carefully, you see that there is some glimmering light around the door, very astonishingly. - Certainly, this door brings back memories of other very bad doors, with inscriptions, but again : The cimetero ebraico is just one of the most convincing counter-models (good word !) to these terrible memories. May be Primo Levi would have liked the photographs of these days ......
