Palazzo antichissimo, 1200 circa, tenuto in modo impeccabile e giardino interno molto ben curato.
Molto semplice e funzionale il sistema di prestito dei libri sia cartacei sia gli e-books.
Bibliotecari molto disponibili e gentili.
Stupenda cornice storica in centro città.
Absolutely to go to visit for tourists (free visit) and to go to study inside for students.
Ancient building, around 1200, impeccably kept and very well-kept internal garden.
The lending system for both paper and e-books is very simple and functional.
Very helpful and kind librarians.
Superb historical setting in the city center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Storica biblioteca comunale, insediata nel Palazzo Paradiso che risale al 1391 e già sede dell'Università degli Studi fino al 1963. Attualmente rimane la biblioteca, frequentatissima dagli studenti, il Mausoleo dell'Ariosto con le ceneri e il famoso e raro Teatro Anatomico dove vi si svolgevano le lezioni di anatomia.
Visita interessantissima e piacevolissima, grazie anche all'estrema cortesia del personale. Un grazie particolare per le informazioni sul Teatro Anatomico.
Historical municipal library, located in the Palazzo Paradiso which dates back to 1391 and already home to the University of Studies until 1963. Currently the library, frequented by students, remains the Mausoleum of Ariosto with the ashes and the famous and rare Anatomic Theater where anatomy lessons were held.
Very interesting and very pleasant visit, thanks also to the extreme courtesy of the staff. A special thanks for the information on the Anatomical Theater.

Luogo perfetto per leggere o per studiare, offre anche spazio all'aperto con tavoli e ombrellone ideali nelle giornate più calde.
Very assorted library, the Palazzo Paradiso and its frescoes are worth a visit, the Ancient Theater offers very interesting afternoon meetings. Highly qualified personnel. Perfect place to read or to study, it also offers outdoor space with tables and umbrella ideal for the hottest days.
