Posizione strategica, stanza carina, bagno minimal, pulito. La trovata del codice x entrare rende tutto molto più facile…non c’è ansia per il check in…il titolare molto disponibile anche se fatto tutto x telefono..mai visto ☺️..ci tengo a nominare il portiere molto simpatico e attento.
Strategic location, nice room, minimal bathroom, clean. Finding the code to enter makes everything much easier ... there is no anxiety about checking in ... the owner is very helpful even if everything is done by phone .. never seen ☺️..I want to name the very nice and attentive doorman.

My boyfriend arranged our stay at Le Stanze di Federica and was in email contact with an employee who spoke perfect English. The website for the hotel was also in English, giving us the impression that we would have no problem with a language barrier. When we arrived, the elevator was out of service so we had to carry our luggagge up 4 flights of stairs. Additionally, no one was there to check us into the hotel. We couldn't even wait in a lobby because the outside door was locked. Someone eventually came and opened the hotel lobby door, but she spoke no English. Luckily, my boyfriend spoke a decent amount of Italian, and he was able to understand that the power would out for an indefinite amount of time. We dropped off our bags and went out to eat since our room was dark and had no AC in the 90+ degree Italian weather. We didn't even have the option to open the windows, since the construction scaffolding outside our room blocked the way. (Keep in mind that the hotel could have emailed us about this inconvenience, but made no communication about it.) In desperate need of drinks, we left, but not before asked the desk worker to schedule a taxi to get to the airport in the morning. When we returned from dinner, no one was working at the desk. We had an early flight, and wanted to know checkout procedures, but had no one to ask. We figured that someone would eventually return to the desk, but no such luck. In the morning before we left, we had to call the hotel since nobody was working on the premesis. The hotel staff we got a hold of said she "didn't know" where we should leave the keys. Frustrated, we finally decided to lock our door and left the keys on the desk. When we got outside, there was no sign of a taxi that we'd ordered through the hotel. After 10 minutes of waiting, it just so happened that a taxi was dropping off some people outside of our hotel, so we were able to take it to the airport. Overall, our stay at the di Federica was a nightmare. Hotel staff seemed nonexistant after we'd arrived and didn't seem to care about guests once check in was over. Definitely not worth the $180 we spent. I'd give this place a 0/5 if possible.

We stayed at the Stanze di Federica on 26 through 30 December 2019 and we have only the best to say. The location is exceptional. The street is relatively quiet, yet lined with many shops, restaurants, cafes (also in the neighbourhood). Via del Corso, a shopper's or window shopper's paradise and also leading to many major sights is only across the bridge. Castello, Vaticano, as well as Piazza Navonna, Campo di Fiori etc is a nice walk away. Buses and subway may take you everywhere. The rooms and reception are modern, comfortable, cosy and clean. The temperature was exactly as it should be ( and I am very peculiar about it). The check -in concept with codes given via whattsapp is very convenient. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The only ''drawback'' might be the lift, a bit slow and only two persons capacity. But this is old charming buildings for you. We were delighted to get the feeling of living in an original Rome building. Lat but not least: Value for Money! Thank you and we will be definitely back!

Very nice people. 24 hour reception service. A taste of old Rome in a contemporary setting. Mediocre breakfast (juice for example fm a can) but perfectly acceptable. Rooms nice and well appointed. Much better than staying at a chain hotel. Again, great staff. Centrally located.
