β β β β β The Place is very nice, the food excellent, but the time to wait between courses is unacceptable. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience because I would really like to come back many times, but this long empty waiting times will keep me away.

β β β β β Extraordinary place. The only place in Trevignano to get the best Pinsa Romana.
The staff is one big family and the location is great. You can eat by the lake in a nice quiet, romantic atmosphere.
Also, whe we were there the moon was full and it would come over the lake just in front of the restaurant's beach area.

β β β β β Two wonderful meals here, so far! Looking forward to many more, and enjoying the outdoor dining, view, and atmosphere of the lake and the beautiful hydrangeas that are the restaurant's namesake.
I'm not usually struck by pizza, but theirs is very special.... light but substantial (hope that makes sense) due to the unusual recipe. We took a plain, extra one home for snacking. It reheated very well.
Other choices were equally as nice/tasty as brought to us by a very accommodating staff of the most pleasant people. The place was fairly booked up both times and, yes, a bit of a wait at times, but it's worth it knowing that: 1. it's Italy! 2. they are under new management 3. there is love and pride in their food which comes through in every way.

β β β β β I have amended my review upon reflection but note that a 20min wait for someone to take my order is too long as is a 20min wait for my bill. I did in fact arrive at 730 -8 and left at 930. Food is good and location is very nice but if you are expecting a relatively quick meal this is not the place.

β β β β β We had a lovely evening meal in this warm,romantic restaurant. The special pizza (made with their special dough made with several types) was AMAZING. We finished 3 pizzas even though we were really full?
The owners-cooks and waiters were really nice and helpful. It was important for them to give a positive experience. Very welcoming, calm atmosphere. Wine offer was excellent to my taste. Would DEFINITELY recommend.
Also-of course amazing location, but the insides of the restaurant are lovely as well!
