E se siete di fretta, e' perfetto x un aperitivo o uno spuntino veloce. Ottimi anche i vini. Porzioni abbondanti. It is always a pleasure to have lunch here. Non abbiamo ne cenato ne pranzato , colazione solo con cappuccio e brioche e null'altro ...per cento euro colazione compresa davvero brutta come cosa.Varzi sempre bella ma se avete un animale non andate l'ultimo dell'anno ,hanno sparato botti come in guerra...rerrorizzata la nostra cagnolina Nice large room and very comfortable bed, large bathroom very clean and spacious. Con camere accoglienti con frigo bar in locanda confortevole con ristorante e tavoli all'aperto..l'ambiente e' accogliente con una valida carta dei vini e molto ben fornita , pietanze buone , e abbondanti ..il personale e gentile e molto preparato , c'e' dei salumi davvero ottimi e ti fanno subito gustare l'aperitivo della casa . La camera e ampia con letto comodissimo , ampio bagno, pulito ..puoi pranzare o cenare questo dipende da quel che si preferisce ..la colazione e con cappuccio e brioche , e si accettano animali , pranzare o cenare qui e sempre un piacere si comincia con i salumi ..e si prosegue con degli ottimi primi piatti , e buonissimi secondi ..la carne ve lo assicuro e veramente da provare , il servizio e sempre attento e con calore , se poi siete solo di passaggio non ce problema ..vi fate un aperitivo , uno spuntino veloce , con porzioni abbondanti ..provate degli ottimi vini e poi si riparte . Prendiamo stinco e costine di maialino con Chips (€13,00) e un hamburger con Chips (€13,00). Chiediamo se al posto delle Chips con la carne possiamo avere dell'insalata e ci dicono di si, ma al momento del conto scopriamo che ci hanno fatto pagare €5,00 per della misticanza, avendo tolto le patatine dal piatto. Lattina di coca zero €3,00 e 1/2 di acqua €1,50. Qualità dei prodotti molto buona, porzioni giuste ma il prezzo mi sembra elevato. Inoltre avrebbero dovuto al avvisarci che l'insalata aveva un costo aggiuntivo pur togliendo le patatine. Mi dispiace vedere che ogni volta che ci sono feste, tutti se ne approfittano. Invece di contenere i costi e guadagnare sui numeri, si cerca di rincarare tutto approfittando dell'evento. Servizio buono, personale gentile. M	Matt C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I and my wife stayed at this family-owned hotel with restaurant for 2 nights and couldn't be any more pleased. The room (Menta) was clean and well-equipped, fresh blowing AC and spacious bed with a handy kitchen corner and led TV. The restaurant downstairs is good for both lunch and dinner. Room prices are reasonable and include a good breakfast, the personnel is professional, sweet and functional. This place is minutes away from a nice public pool, the varzi historical city center, about 40 mins from Bobbio, mount Penice and the beautiful Trebbia river, about 15 minutes from Salice Terme and is surrounded by plenty of places to visit. A hidden gem in the deep Oltrepó Pavese region, really recommeded!
