★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In occasione della Lumina in Castro, abbiamo avuto la possibilità di poter visitare questo castello, un vero gioello (da precisare ristrutturato) dell'avellinese... Vivamente consigliato un giro se ci si trova in zona.... Ma anche se bisogna andarci di proposito.
 On the occasion of the Lumina in Castro, we had the opportunity to visit this castle, a real jewel (to be specified renovated) of the Avellino area ... A tour is highly recommended if you are in the area .... But even if you have to go there purposely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho scoperto davvero un bel castello. Dall'esterno non si immagina la bellezza che puoi vedere una volta varcata la soglia. Siamo andati per assistere ad una rappresentazione teatrale ma per visitare il castello si può contattare la Pro loco di Lauro. Se siete fortunati, potete parcheggiare proprio davanti al castello, altrimenti c'è un parcheggio a 3 minuti a piedi
I discovered a really nice castle. From the outside you cannot imagine the beauty that you can see once you cross the threshold. We went to attend a theatrical performance but to visit the castle you can contact the Pro loco di Lauro. If you are lucky, you can park right in front of the castle, otherwise there is a car park within a 3 minute walk

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The castle is privately owned but very well maintained. Unfortunately it can be visited only few times in a year in connection with local festivities. Alternatively for photo sets, requests can be addressed to local tourism office.
Besides that, the castle has several rooms very well maintained, the inner garden is beautiful and offers a nice spot for pictures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderfully preserved (and in some areas redone) castle. It's a bit hard to get a tour scheduled via Facebook or email so we went to the Pro Lauro office at: Via Municipio, 83023 Lauro AV. It seems the tour times vary from 1045am all the way to 5pm. Recommend.
