β β β β β Tigelle and crescentine with a choice of cold cuts and various sauces tipical of the area with some warm pasta plates and excellent desserts make for a fine dining experience. Try it and you won't regret it

β β β β β Quality to price is excellent, good Lambrusco en amaro was really nice. Ragu was not that special, but the sundried tomatoes en fresh bread were excellent. Friendly and knowledgable service.

β β β β β Went for date night with the wife. The food in general was pretty bad. Ambience was nothing special and the bathrooms were unclean to say the least. Talking smell and grim. No way is this place a 4 rating.

β β β β β The food was good as expected from the best of the regional traditions.
Unfortunately there were some minor issues while taking the order therefore some dishes arrived late, while another one was different. Probably a suggestion would be to take note of the orders to avoid this, especially because we were 6 of us, but to wrap up it was a good experience.

β β β β β Incredible food, really really nice hosts too! The place is big (about 10 tables inside) and it has a back terrace covered with plastic, so you're half out in the open without any of the cold. The food and prices are really good, definitely want to go back! We had to reserve a table, since we were a big group (8-10) eating out on a Friday, and the whole place was booked solid! Food came really quickly and the wine of the house was also really good. The terrace was very loud, but maybe that had to do with how a couple of tables were celebrating birthdays.
The only thing I really hated and would make me not go back (and makes me give only the 4 stars) would be the amount of smoke on the plastic-covered terrace. It was obvious that some people were smoking even if they shouldn't, and the smoke got a bit trapped so all of us were breathing in a lot of smoke. I personally have asthma so that smoke made me start coughing and wheezing a lot - I ended up finishing dinner, paying, and waiting outside across the restaurant from my friends, because the amount of smoke was really bad. The terrace was really nice but I'll have to stick to the indoor restaurant to maybe avoid so much smoke later :(

β β β β β What a nice surprise. Serendipity. Our taxi driver recommended this place on hearing we were visiting Bologna for 3 days. He said we needed to try Tigelle and sent us here, and made a lunch reservation for us. We sat on the rear terrace and had the Tagliere Traditionale. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed the early September breeze and their house Sangiovese. I'm not sure if this place is tipical or very special in Bologna but I can't imagine a more enjoyable lunch experience.
