Lake Garda Weddings

We knew we wanted to get married abroad but didn’t really know where to start. Malcesine castle and Lake Garda Weddings were recommended to us by a friend who had been to a wedding there before. We got in touch and from this first contact they have been absolutely fantastic. They arranged everything down to the last detail and always responded promptly with helpful information. The booking process couldn’t be simpler, we were given lots of options, kept fully updated via emails and all costs were fully itemised so we could keep an eye on the budget. We had never been to Malcesine before our wedding so we put a lot of trust in the whole team but when we arrived everything far outweighed our expectations. The place itself is breathtakingly beautiful and Deborah our wedding coordinator took us around the town and showed us exactly how everything would work. I normally ask a lot of questions but I didn’t need to ask anything as she covered everything before I even thought of it. I had my hair done in the morning and again the hairdresser was superb. She did exactly what I wanted in no time at all. The salon is literally right next to the castle so it all worked beautifully and to be honest our day couldn’t have gone any better. We had our reception at La Voglia too. Not only is this an incredible location but the food was out of this world and the service was just as good. Gwen was our photographer and again she was fantastic. So accommodating and clearly extremely talented! I don’t normally like having my photo taken at all but I absolutely love the photos she took and will show them to anyone who will look! There was no stress involved at all. Either in the run up or on the day. People kept remarking about how laid back we were but it’s just because we knew that they had everything covered. When we came back we had a party for all those who couldn’t come to Italy and trying to organise the party was much more stressful than the actual main event! I would recommend Lake Garda Weddings and Malcesine to anyone. In fact people can’t shut me up about how good it is! Everyone who came to our wedding have said they were hugely impressed by how smoothly everything ran and how great the wedding coordinator was. It really was the best day ever and we are so so happy that we chose Malcesine and Lake Garda Weddings as our host. I really think you get so much more for your money compared to weddings in the UK and if we could do it all over again we would!

We got married at the end of September 2019 and have no hesitation in recommending Lake Garda Weddings. The level of service and professionalism is top class and we would do the whole thing all over again tomorrow if we could. Deborah, Sara and Anabel made sure all the planning was made as easy as possible and had answers for every question we could think of to put our minds at rest. Gwen and Annabel were the BEST. We got married in October (sorry its taken so long to write a review, time has flown by since our wedding) and it was the best experience! Our guests still talk to this day about how awesome our wedding was! Everything went so smoothly! Much better than we could have ever expected! I can't thank them enough! Wish we could relive the day over and over again!

Caty & Cezar (22nd August 2020) We have recently used the services of Lake Garda Weddings and we really can’t recommend them highly enough. Gwen, Deborah and Annabel are by far the best wedding planner ever. These ladies are simply amazing. We fully enjoyed every moment, we did not feel at all the stress of organizing a wedding, because they took care of everything in the best possible way. Their professionalism made the entire planning process very smooth and that was reflected in the wedding day itself, which was fabulous. We felt like living a dream…a true fairytale day. Malcesine is a stunningly beautiful corner of Italy. We’ve chosen to have our ceremony at Malcesine Scaliger Castle, a boat trip around the lake, then we had our wedding venue at the gorgeous lakeside restaurant ‘’La Voglia’’, where the food and the music were amazing. Our guests have said our wedding was one of the best they have ever attended, despite the restrictions caused by COVID 19. The only regret was that it ended too quickly :) We wanted those moments not to end. Gwen is a wonderful photographer, and she made us laugh a lot and enjoy each and every moment, especially during the photo session. Deborah on the other side, coordinated everything perfectly and took care of all our guests. Annabel helped us a lot with information and documents to be prepared prior to the event. All together went PERFECT. This day will always remain in our minds as the most perfect day, and we will always remember the Dream Team behind it, who made it so special. Thank you so much and we will definitely come and see you again!

When we first got engaged we always knew we wanted to get married abroad but did not have a clue how to go about organising everything. We found Malcesine and fell in love, it is the most beautiful and charming place. I was quite nervous about arranging our wedding online via wedding planners that we hadn't met. Having come across lake garda weddings online and contacting them, we instantly felt reassured that our wedding was in very safe hands. Annabel and Gwen were so lovely, they provide so much information about all of your options for your wedding day and give great advice, making sure you and your guests have the best day ever. Having managed to get married in the middle of the COVID pandemic, we were very lucky to have the ladies at LGW to hand to keep us up to date and reassure us throughout, making the situation less stressful for sure! On our wedding day everything ran seamlessly. Annabel was with us for the entire day, looking after us and our guests, making sure we weren't bothered with any queries throughout the day so we could relax and enjoy ourselves, she was brilliant! For a couple who are not fans of having our photo taken, Gwen made us feel so comfortable we had such a good time, and the photos are amazing! Thank you Gwen! We just want to say a massive thank you to all of the LGW ladies, we had the most amazing wedding, with our guests saying it was the best wedding ever! If you are considering booking your wedding via LGW......DO IT! you will definitely not regret it.

Lake Garda Weddings make dreams come true! After a difficult year of uncertainty for everyone, we are so happy we were able to get married and even more happy our friends and family could be there with us in the most stunning and beautiful place. We visited Malcesine for a couple of hours in April 2019 while on holiday with friends. After our appointment with Deborah we just knew this was ‘the’ place! Past reviews told us not to worry, these ladies are experts in their field. Nothing is too much of an ask, nothing is without the closest attention to detail. They work with and source such wonderful local suppliers. From the hairdresser and make up artist, to the Lakeside toast at La Pace and the wonderful setting, food and service at La Voglia - nothing was less than perfect. We also took their recommendations for James the Videographer and Nick the Piper who we arranged as a surprise for Gavin - also excellent secret keepers! Our guests not only had an amazing few days on holiday in Malcesine, but said our day was one they will always remember and cherish, and we know many want to return here. From a year some may have wished away, I would happily relive our wedding week again and again. Gwen the photos are just amazing, you have effortlessly put our memories into pictures we can keep forever. Thank you so much again, and we will see you in a few months. Still can't get over how perfect our special day was. We had the most beautiful fairytale wedding at the Scaliger Castle in Malcesine. Annabel and Gwen were extremely responsive throughout the entire planning process leading up to our wedding. While we were nervous about planning an Italian wedding from the United States, Annabel and Gwen made it incredibly easy to plan our special day. We felt further reassured at our Welcome Meeting in Malcesine prior to our wedding where we visited the Castle and met with our vendors. They work with Malcesine's finest vendors which made for a truly beautiful wedding. We loved every detail about our wedding from the hair and makeup to the flowers to the post-ceremony boat ride. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and we owe it to the fabulous team at Lake Garda Weddings.

And thank you to Gwen too for some absolutely fabulous pictures. The team at Lake Garda Weddings were all fantastic from start to finish. With having to cancel our original date in May due to COVID we were lucky enough to get another date in September. I cannot stress how good Annabel was at taking on board what we wanted from the day and delivering it. I fear I may have been her first Groomzilla :) but after so much heartache with original dates it was one of the most perfect days in my life on the day. The little extras like the tuk tuk wedding car and boat trip made a special day even more memorable. La Voglia restaurant for the reception was fantastic. All of our friends were blown away by the quality of the food and the beauty of Malcesine. The ceremony itself was also very personal for a civil ceremony and we felt very welcomed by all the people of Malcesine. Will pop in and say hi to the team when we return to Malcesine which we certainly will.
