★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sulla bellissima laguna di Levante si affacciano, da nord-est a sud-ovest: il mercato settimanale del sabato; il parco dell'ex Idroscalo con all'interno il circolo canottieri; la polveriera Guzman (che al tempo dello Stato dei Presidi conservava appunto polvere e munizioni; sarebbe un museo archeologico, con pezzi di pregio provenienti dal territorio, ma purtroppo ormai da tempo è chiusa e ospita ogni tanto mostre e convegni); il Lungolago delle Crociere, bellissimo per passeggiare e godersi la vista verso la Feniglia e Porto Ercole, con un'area chiusa per i cani (ma attenzione a non parcheggiare qui se non siete residenti, perché è ZTL e si rischia una multa piuttosto salata!)
Da questa parte non è raro incontrare i pescatori (con permesso), dato che lo specchio d'acqua è ricchissimo di pesce!
On the beautiful lagoon of Levante, from north-east to south-west, we find the weekly Saturday market; the former Idroscalo park with the rowing club inside; the Guzman powder keg (which at the time of the State of the Presidia kept precisely powder and ammunition; it would be an archaeological museum, with valuable pieces coming from the territory, but unfortunately for some time it has been closed and every now and then hosts exhibitions and conferences); the Lungolago delle Crociere, beautiful for walking and enjoying the view towards the Feniglia and Porto Ercole, with an enclosed area for dogs (but be careful not to park here if you are not a resident, because it is ZTL and you risk a rather salty fine! )
On this side it is not uncommon to meet fishermen (with permission), since the stretch of water is very rich in fish!
