Durante i mesi caldi è preso d assalto da turisti che arrivano da ogni parte soprattutto da Olandesi e Tedeschi. Il lago ha ottenuto la bandiera blu per la qualità dell acqua incontaminata, grazie anche ai severi controlli della provincia di Trento e al buon senso di chi vive nei paesi e frazioni che si affacciano sulle sue rive. Sul lago si pratica windsurf e vela dato che si trova in una posizione favorevole per poter praticare questo tipo di attività. Da ricordare che ci sono scuole di vela e che oltre agli allenamenti di tanto in tanto ci sono anche delle regate. Dalle sue rive si può godere di bellissimi paesaggi sia di giorno che di notte. Durante il giorno le varie montagne che circondano il lago e la notte con le luci dei vari paesi e frazioni che si riflettono sulle sue acque. Importante da ricordare che da questo lago nasce il fiume Brenta. Schöner und ruhiger als am Gardasee. Sehr empfehlenswert für Familien mit Kindern. In der näheren Umgebung jede Menge Ausflugsziele. Best location for excursions into the mountains, great, well-kept campsites around the lake, many places with the typical Italian flair. More beautiful and quieter than on Lake Garda. Highly recommended for families with children. Lots of excursion destinations in the vicinity.

Nella striscia di terra tra il Lago di Caldonazzo e il Lago di Levico si sviluppano numerose stradine sterrate da percorrere a piedi. Il lago si raggiunge facilmente in Treno per chi non avesse la macchina. Perfect place for a Sunday walk.
