★ ★ ★ ★ ★ E' un lago naturale ma con una data di "nascita" ben precisa: il 27 luglio 1642 quando - verso le due e mezza di notte - 20 milioni di metri cubi di materiale si staccarono dal Monte Pozzuoli franando sulla valle e sul borgo di Antrona .
Fu un disastro di proporzioni bibliche che causò la morte di un centinaio di persone ma che fece nascere, appunto, il lago grazie allo sbarramento del torrente Troncone.
Da qualche anno un bel sentiero attrezzato percorre tutto il suo perimetro regalando scorci davvero suggestivi.
It is a natural lake but with a very precise date of "birth": July 27, 1642 when - around half past two in the morning - 20 million cubic meters of material broke off from Monte Pozzuoli, collapsing over the valley and the village of Antrona .
It was a disaster of biblical proportions that caused the death of about a hundred people but that gave birth to the lake thanks to the damming of the Troncone stream.
For some years now, a beautiful aided path has been running along its entire perimeter, offering truly suggestive views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtig! Om de 2 meren heen koste ons 4uur. En bij Lago Pineta kan je altijd terecht voor iets te eten na een flinke wandeling.
Magnificent! It took us 4 hours to get to the 2 lakes. And at Lago Pineta you can always go for something to eat after a long walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo lago facilmente raggiungibile con un percorso ad anello di circa 3 km che permette di scrutarne ogni angolino...si può anche fare il bagno! Punto di partenza per tantissime escursioni ?
Beautiful lake easily reachable with a circular route of about 3 km that allows you to scrutinize every corner ... you can even swim! Starting point for many excursions ?

Sia il primo praticamente si può fare tutto il giro intorno con una bassa difficoltà forse solo un paio di punti bisogna prestare un po' di attenzione comunque anche con bambini piccoli si può fare un invece se uno bue può raggiungere i laghi superiori dove c'è una vera e propria diga con un ottimo panorama verso la vallata
The lakes are very beautiful
Both the first one you can practically do the whole tour around with a low difficulty maybe just a couple of points you have to pay a little attention however even with small children you can do a instead if an ox can reach the upper lakes where there is a real dam with an excellent view towards the valley
