★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect place to start your climbing to Tre Cime, by foot, of course. Untrained people with children are there in 2 hours on a very beautiful track. Otherwise the lake is very crouded and turistic but you will still find a free parking place if you are there before 9 o'clock.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful spot to take rest. You can sit on a bench by the lake and admire the Tre Cime di Lavaredo peaks and the surrounding forest
There is a bus station nearby for the peaks and the toll station for the parking is right ahead

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing little lake on the way to Parco Naturale delle Tre Cime. I passed by in low season and it was desert however very peaceful and with a beautiful light. In high season must be crowded since the café /bar/restaurant also opens only during the season. ?best just before the sunset.
