Very very beautiful park and also large, ideal for walking and cycling, too bad there are few fountains if I'm not mistaken there are only two in the whole park ...

Il suo livello è inferiore di alcuni metri a squalo del Fiume Lambro, che scorre a poche decine di metri di distanza. Le sue acque, eutrofizzate e torbide, sono frequentate da alcune specie di pesci (pseudorasbora, carpe), numerosi uccelli acquatici (soprattutto germani e gallinelle d'acqua), da rane rospi, tartarughe acquatiche esotiche e nutrie. Durante l'estate le acque vanno incontro a fenomeni di assenza di ossigeno che hanno provocato anche morie di uccelli acquatici, Malgrado la fauna e la flora presenti siano comuni e non certo pregiate, questo ambiente acquatico accresce comunque il livello di diversità ambientale della zona di parco Lambro e contribuisce a migliorare la biodiversità in ambito urbano, The Parco Lambro lake is located inside a depression in the ground where groundwater emerges. Trattasi di una pozza lurida (spesso oggetto di discarica abusiva: vi si trovano carrelli della spesa e altro) creatasi dopo l'ultima grande esondazione di qualche anno fa (circa anno 2010). Prima non esisteva, tant'è si sta gradualmente sparendo. Pond?! Da quel giorno, nella vicina depressione accanto al fiume, si è formato una sorta di laghetto (è più un bacino d’acqua senza immissari di origine carsica) di profondità variabile durante le stagioni .
