La location è bella, anche se noi eravamo seduti nella grotta dove c'era molta umidità, ma la cosa peggiore era la totale mancanza di luce( per vedere un piatto ho acceso la torcia del cellulare). Chiediamo alla "cameriera"( una ragazzina) se fosse stato possibile fare una serie di assaggi per provare tutto il menù ( dato che si trattava cmq di due antipasti, due primi e due secondi) . Sta di fatto che o non ci hanno capiti o non c'hanno voluto capire, siamo arrivati al secondo che eravamo strapieni e coem assaggio di secondo per 5 persone ci hanno portato un rotolo intero di agnello , un altro vassoio pieno di cinghiale ed un altro ancora con 10 costolette impanate!!! Morale della favola : in cinque ,al netto dei vini( che cmq avevano prezzi sopra la media), abbiamo speso 316 euro ovvero 67 euro a testa! Non abbiamo mangiato male ma per questo prezzo mi aspetto di vedere un po' più di tecnica nel piatto e di conoscenza in sala. Non penso che ci andrò più. They literally plucked us! The location is beautiful, even if we were sitting in the cave where there was a lot of humidity, but the worst thing was the total lack of light (to see a plate I turned on my cell phone flashlight). We ask the "waitress" (a girl) if it was possible to make a series of tastings to try the whole menu (since it was anyway two starters, two first and two second). The fact is that either they did not understand us or they did not want to understand us, we arrived at the second that we were full and as a second taste for 5 people they brought us a whole roll of lamb, another tray full of wild boar and another again with 10 breaded ribs !!! Moral of the story: five of us, net of wines (which in any case had prices above average), we spent 316 euros or 67 euros each! We didn't have a bad meal but for this price I expect to see a little more technique on the plate and knowledge in the dining room. I don't think I'll go there anymore.

Abbiamo cenato nella sala dove le pareti sono scavate nella roccia, con un illuminazione soft il tutto accompagnato dal calore del camino. Il menù tradizionale ma rivisitato per un palato raffinato. Le materie prime di ottima qualità e fresche cucinate al momento. Il personale è preparato attento e professionale e di una spiccata gentilezza. Faccio i miei migliori complimenti alla cuoca e a tutto lo staff. Torneremo ma soprattutto lo consiglio a tutti. I celebrated my birthday in this club on Saturday evening, the atmosphere is magical. We had dinner in the room where the walls are carved into the rock, with soft lighting all accompanied by the warmth of the fireplace. The traditional menu but revisited for a refined palate. The raw materials of excellent quality and fresh cooked at the moment. The staff is prepared attentive and professional and with a marked kindness. My best compliments to the cook and all the staff. We will be back but above all I recommend it to everyone.

Di questo paese, colpevolmente non ne sapevo nemmeno l'esistenza Arroccato su un colle nel Parco della Maiella, mi ha riportato indietro nel tempo. How many magnificent discoveries are made in Italy! I guiltily did not even know about this town. Perched on a hill in the Maiella Park, it took me back in time.

P	Pavan Mehra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our second visit to Pretoro from the US in 5 years. Both times we ate at La Torre and both times enjoyed some delicious food. In appetizer, we got some mixed grill and it was so different and savory. In main course, I got Boar meat which came with some kind of mashed potatoes mixed with some kind of berry sauce and juices. It was so so good and different. The owner lady herself cooks everything fresh for you, so allow her the time needed to prepare a good meal, you will love it. Restaurant is carved inside a mountain, and where else can you find this kind of atmosphere....only in Pretoro. We shall be back in another 5 years. Hope to enjoy another meal at La Torre....
M	Marc Gagnon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A group of us stopped here for lunch and it was wonderful. The location itself is inspiring - set in a tower / cave, it adds to the ambience. The house wines were wonderful and flowed freely, as did the conversation. The food was delightful - the highlight was the ravioli.
