★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretorio è un bellissimo borgo d'Italia situata ai piedi della Mariella, costruita su di una roccia. Da visitare in estate durante le notti di S. Lorenzo. Inoltre si consiglia di visitare la mostra dell'artigianato dove realizzano oggetti in legno.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretoro è uncomune inserito nei borghi più belli d'Italia, situato nel territorio montano della Maiella .Nel paese sono stati rinvenuti scavi che fanno risalire le origini della borgata al VI° secolo avanti Cristo. Tra scalette e stradine si possono ammirare diverse chiese tra cui quella di S. Nicola, originariamente romanica, ma ricostruita con fogge rinascimentali.
Pretoro is a town inserted in the most beautiful villages in Italy, located in the mountain territory of the Maiella. Excavations have been found in the town that trace the origins of the village to the 6th century BC. Between stairways and narrow streets you can admire several churches including that of S. Nicola, originally Romanesque, but rebuilt with Renaissance shapes.

Nelle vicinanze vi sono degli scavi archeologici preistorici, che dimostrano l'antichità del paese. Il borgo antico è molto caratteristico, a forma di un triangolo che parte largo dal basso e si restringe man mano verso l'alto con le case costruite una sull'altra. E' formato da tanti vicoletti che portano in alto salendo molti gradini. Molti siti da visitare nelle vicinanze, compresi impianti sciistici nel comprensorio di Passolanciano-Maielletta. Abitanti gentili, socievoli e accoglienti.
