Con il figlio Ettore gestisce la struttura che è una tenuta nobiliare appartenuta al nonno podestà del paese con annessi 18 ettari di frutteto e uliveto. Un posto bellissimo, tranquillo, fornito di ogni comodità, persino una piscina con idromassaggio ricavata da un antico abbeveratoio. Posto ideale per raggiungere Siracusa, Avola, Palazzolo Acreide, Noto. Sono stati giorni bellissimi scanditi dalla compagnia piacevole mai invadente della signora e del figlio. Con una colazione abbondante quasi completamente realizzata con ingredienti prodotti all'interno della struttura. Lo consiglio a chiunque voglia fare esperienza del territorio, respirare cultura, bellezza, autenticità. Grazie a Ettore e alla mitica signora Maria!!
 Mrs. Maria is a beauty keeper. With his son Ettore he manages the structure which is a noble estate that belonged to the grandfather mayor of the town with 18 hectares of orchard and olive grove. A beautiful, quiet place, equipped with every comfort, even a swimming pool with hydromassage obtained from an ancient drinking trough. Ideal place to reach Syracuse, Avola, Palazzolo Acreide, Noto. They were beautiful days punctuated by the pleasant and never intrusive company of the lady and her son. With a hearty breakfast almost completely made with ingredients produced within the structure. I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the area, breathe culture, beauty, authenticity. Thanks to Ettore and the legendary Mrs. Maria !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ beautiful location in the sicilian countryside and at the same time very close to Floridia (about 1 min) and Siracuse (15 min). The best accomodation to visit the east cost of the island, a beautiful sea and the places of barocco. Mrs Adorno and their sons give to their guests the best hospitality you can ask for.

Negative: When arriving in Florida, it's a bit disappointing. The area is not attractive. I was afraid I made a wrong choice..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: La Taverna is a haven of peace near Siracusa and the sea. The room is well equipped, Sicilian style furnished and very clean. We had a great time at the pool, in the garden full of olive and citrus fruit trees. The breakfast was perfect, with fresh juice and Sicilian specialities. Our hosts were kind, caring and welcoming. We recommend 100% La Taverna!.
