Agriturismo Limoneto

We stayed with our children (15,17) at the beginning of January at the Agriturismo Limoneto, which is located about 10 minutes from Siracusa in a lemon garden and is organically farmed. Our hosts were extremely friendly and also provided us with information about places to visit. The food was excellent with typical Sicilian dishes. The room was large, clean, pleasantly heated and had a gallery with the children's beds. We felt very comfortable.

Unfortunately I can't give less ... but I would have done it !!!! It should be noted that we phoned late ... and there could be confusion and the organization was not the best ... Instead of saying to me and my family (consisting of 3 people ...): "We're sorry we're full!" They put us with the table in front of the entrance door ... ? ... the thing that left me perplexed that they apologized with the classic excuse ... you called late ...! I can only confirm that if we stayed for dinner it was because unfortunately the child was hungry and to get home, we still had a long way to go ... but, if it had been for me, I would have left immediately. ..... The service unfortunately leaves something to be desired, the food thanking God given the situation we are experiencing we can say that it was "edible" .... Something to review, the appetizers some things were bland, I don't know about the first courses ... and the second courses on the whole they were decent! The structure may be nice, but we have not seen anything ... seen the view they gave us, that is to stop in front of the entrance ... Not to mention that there is no menu where you can choose many dishes, but a set menu of € 20 or € 25 complete ... where with a piece of paper you must indicate what you have chosen of what there is only the quantity ... The gluten-free do not even know where he is at home, I was waiting for the bread so I could "taste" the second dish of meat and salad with bread ... but I had already finished dinner and no trace of the bread was seen !!! Not to mention that they had made me "problems" for having a little spaghetti with tomato sauce (simple dish), because maybe they didn't have spaghetti ... even if afterwards they solved ... cmq disappointing !!! We paid € 51 for having 2 appetizers, 2 seconds and 1 first ... which among other things we left the dessert, the coffee and what concerns the end of the meal ... unfortunately I repeat the concept after having finished ours dishes we left immediately, because at the entrance in front of the door it was cold and honestly we risked catching a cold ... Really very disappointing ... Maybe trying to improve on certain slips, they could really raise the value and potential that the location can have ... I personally cannot recommend, but each one has his own taste and his own yardstick ...
