A real slow food experience, top quality food, top notch service, best value for money. Make sure you book in advance

Fastest slow food on the planet. Pay no attention to your guests and throw mediocre food on the table and the evening is wasted. Don't throw away your money away here!

Excellent food, prepared in house, tasty and reasonably priced. Book in advance, places are very limited.

It was very nice eating there. The food is excellent and the price is just right. You have to reserve a table if you are planning to eat there and be warned, nobody speaks english and the menu is also in italian only.

Reputedly the smallest restaurant in Italy (with only 10 covers inside) but its reputation is deservedly founded upon its truly outstanding regional dishes, presented with love and good humour by owner and celebrity chef, Raffaella. She is clearly passionate about her art and is an eloquent proponent of the Slow Food movement. The varied menu of Tuscan specialities should suit all tastes, including vegetarians. DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO RUSH YOUR MEAL; that would be sacrilege and this is not the place for a quick lunch during a sightseeing visit (and it really is a lovely little town - no wonder the Siennese were so keen to hold on to it). La Tana dei Brilli is an experience to be savored and has become one of my most memorable and enjoyable dining experiences. Even the house wines by the carafe, from local producer Moris Farms, is amazing value and admirably compliments Raffaella's equally local dishes. As space is so limited, you will need to book well in advance and be flexible with your dates. I assure you that your patience will be rewarded.

Having booked the restaurant for 3 people we were seated on a table for 2 and the place was empty. My son was constantly knocked by the owner trying to squeeze through. The service was slow and they weren't very interested. We can speak Italian and English. The food was mainly Luke warm small portion and the first sweet pasta I've tasted as an Italian. Very unapitising and poor value. We were in the village for a week and ate much better with better service everywhere else. Not worth a visit.

A five star restaurant of typical genuine food from the area, lot of D.O.P. and slow food registered ingredients cooked simply to perfection. Small cozy restaurant decorated with style and taste. You MUST try it I was simply amazed.
