β β β β β We are never disappointed when we dine at La Selva, a favourite seafood restaurant. Today we shared a plate of "crudi" - the freshest raw red prawns, pink prawns, langoustines, oysters, tuna tartar and carpaccio of ricciola, followed by spaghetti alla ghittara with crab sauce. Our best dining experience this year.

β β β β β We had a pleasant dinner at La Selva, where we enjoyed in particular the quality of the "primi" (see pictures). Looking back to it while I'm reviewing all the expenses of our vacation, I cannot help but think that the 100 eur we paid for 1 starter, 2 primi, 1 secondo, 2 glassses of wine and 1 dessert was a little on the excessive side, particularly if compared with many very good dinners we had while in Italy in those days.

β β β β β This restaurantβs food quality is not what you would expect in Italy. The dishes are well decorated but disappointing in flavor, especially considering the price point.
We had risotto and seafood spaghetti. Unfortunately, they use parboiled rice, which causes the risotto to be watery and bland. Risotto has to be made using Arborio or Carnaroli rice. The seafood spaghetti was also plain, lacking in flavor.
Unfortunately the price is nowhere near the quality of food.
Definitely one of my worst experiences in Italy.

β β β β β Love this place! I get every time I'm in Tuscany. The special most recently was the baccala and it was fabulous! Also the fried mixed pesce or the calamari, very good! Always friendly and great porch to sit on when its nice outside. Don't pass it up!

β β β β β I spend 5 days in Italy. My last dinner in Italy was perfect and best ever!! Food in La Selva were so delicious. Before I visit here, I thought Italian food is not fit with me. However, La Selva changed my mind. I really thank you for making happy dinner! Will miss these last night dinner..!!

β β β β β Lovely restaurant, delicious food, large variety of wines and very nice service. The chef uses excessive quantities of olive oil almost for every dish, and after a while it becomes tiring.
