★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food and very hard-working staff can be found in the Restaurant La Sciamadda dei Vinaccieri Ballerini in Sestri Levante. Nevertheless, I would like to take the time today to write a review on the table reservation.
On 28.09.2019 I wanted to book a table for two persons in the afternoon for the said Restaurant for the evening. This was also done directly by the director, see photo ->. I pointed out that I am a smoker and in consideration of the other guests I wish a table in the back area. The promise was made and they offered me a table for the 19:30 clock.
In the evening at the agreed time, however, I had to realize that the desired table had been allocated elsewhere and I had been offered a place in the central area. This annoyed me, of course, because I wanted a place on the sidelines in consideration of the other guests. The Restaurant management seemed that, but it simply didn’t matter.
Without wanting to be going way out on a limb, I would like to say that such specific wishes are taken more seriously among native Italian guests than by a German tourist. So other reserved places remained on the edge over hours and were not occupied in the meantime.
I would like to pay more attention to the needs of customers and to meet each customer at the same level. Running a Restaurant requires much more than serving a good food. The social aspect is also very important.
Maybe this can still be implemented. I wish you much success!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly waiters, nice location in the middle of the old town, close to the promenade. Food was very good too and reasonably priced. They offer typical dishes for the area like the antipasti in the picture (farinata) and pansotti con salsa di noci ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ate here twice with the same experience; delicious Ligurian dishes like farinata, minestrone soup, spinach ravioli in white sauce and calamari fritta were delicious and fresh. Atmospherewas friendly, accommodating and professional. Music playing added to the relaxed outdoor setting; smooth jazz. It was a brisk evening but very comfortable because of heat lanterns and lap blankets if needed. Olga was a joy. Grazie Mille.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was fantastic! The atmosphere was relaxing and very inviting. We sat outside when it was a little brisk, and they offered us blankets! The food was also just incredible! The seafood was fresh and delicious as well as the home made bread. The in house wines were also nice and light, and the Tiramisu was to die for! But the best part hands down was the service. Our server, Olga, was just the friendliest and super helpful! She brought our overall experience from good to amazing! I would highly recommend visiting here if you get the chance!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We wanted to drink some cocktails at the evening, 9-10pm (for eating normally a little bit too late) and ordered 3 cocktails, tiramisu and pana cotta. Our first server was really nice and wanted to bring us all we ordered. But then 2-3min later came another server totally unfriendly and without any respect and said „This is a restaurant for eating and not for drinking“.
It was a completely normal restaurant with tables outside and not a luxury restaurant where I could have understand this. I would not recommend this restaurant, very sad how they treat their customers.
