Locanda Porta Picc is a gem in the hearth of picturesque Polignano. We had the best yellow-fin tuna tartare of our lives! The rest of the food was also of the highest quality - we had the mixed crudi, the pasta of the day (orecchiette di grano saraceno with prawns). The service is great - the staff is attentive and helpful but discrete. All completed by a charming ambience, both if you seat outside, overlooking the white alleys, or inside. For such quality the bill is very reasonable which gives even more of a reason to why you should include Porta Picc among your must-do stops. Grazie!

Veeeery delicious restaurant, actually one of the best in Polignano. For fish and seafood lovers a must to go. The pricing is ok/ low.

Our host recommended us this place for dinner, so we made a reservation during the day for the evening. We were glad we did, as the restaurant was full in the evening and those without reservation were sent away. They serve free prosecco on start, which is a nice touch. The food was really good, maybe not excellent, but maybe I could just choose better ;-) we had some antipasto and local orecchiette pasta with seafood. I would really recommend it, it was a good choice.

We have just visited Polignano a Mare and Porta Picc Restaurant. There I ate the most tastefull food, it was perfect. And all for decent / low prices. I coudn't believe that I payed 76 euro for 4 portions (3 pasta with sea food and shrimps) and 1 beef scaloppini and porcini funghi, 2 bottles of water and 2 marvelous tiramitsu. Coperto (tips) was 3 euro / pers. They brought prosecco on the house, free of charge. For example, the T-bone in the picture is awesome and is 35 euro/kg. The waiters were very carefull and the ambiance at highest level. We had our best time and food in the area. We can hardly wait to be back, as soon as possible!

Puglia is known for its burrata, and Polignano is no exception. I ordered the burrata with tomato and basil, and the flavor is as clean as I can imagine. The tuna carpaccio has good flavor, but one downside is that it is too thick and too oily. I would rather have a smaller portion that are thinly sliced. But I have to give them credit for trying to correct things. They immediately chopped the remaining tuna into smaller slices. How cute! For this I give a 5 star because they actually listen to customer’s opinion and try to make it right. And the grilled fish is very good. The skin is golden with a strong aroma and the fish flea is tender. Good job! The grilled vegetable is burned in my opinion so I did not eat it. They also give free biscotti dipped in wine afterwards. The biscotti is well made. Tastes very fresh. Most bakeries in italy do not have fresh biscotti surprisingly.

This was an experience and I might say a fantastic one. Unfortunately we only had the opportunity of eating here once. This will definitely be in my top 10 list for all of Italy. So what makes this place special? The service, quality of food and friendly wait staff. There was a big selection of fresh fish. My meal was over the top fantastic starting with really fresh tuna with shaved summer truffles. I would have been happy with two orders if this, however, I had the spaghetti with a whole lobster. The lobster was perfectly cooked, succulent and tender. Overall a wonderful meal. If you go reservations are mandatory or you won't get in.

The first impression was great the moment the staff didn't allow cheeky Italian tourists to skip the queue. The staff continued to be great throughout the visit. They presented us today's catch when they brought our menus. The food was fresh and well presented. The taste was great and the prices were good. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend this place if you're looking to have fresh seafood while visiting Polignano a Mare.
