β β β β β Amazing pasta but as a result of our own haste (or ignorance) we ordered a sparkling red which I forgot was a thing. Barbera d'Asti is frizzante so watch out!

β β β β β A really cosy warm place. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, fast and always on the look out to assist you. The food was really nice. A varied menu that caters very well for vegetarians, especially considered the location and regional/cultural favouritism for game/meaty food. We had a delicious onion soup, good plate of grilled vegetables and very good pizza, served thin based, as I like it, but I'm sure the chef can make it thicker if you ask in advance. Other vegerarian options were three different oven cooked cheeses with veg sides and two or three polenta dishes. Plus some pasta dishes too. No rice dishes though. The meat menu was very varied too with lots of local game options like deer, boar etc. (writing that for the sake of the review but my heart sinks....better that then awfully treated farm animals though. Sorry for the comment meat eaters... you do what makes you feel happy :-) ) Anyway, all customers seemed satisfied and happy. Dogs welcome too!! I love dogs but in case you don't, rest assured they were all on the lead, well behaved, sitting under the tables or beside the owner's chair. Returned to the same restaurant the following evening. Also, I had lost my hat there and just couldn't find it. I told the staff and as soon as I walked in the following evening, they came to me with it, it had been kicked and found in another corner of the dining room. Great!!

β β β β β Had a huge vegetarian pizza and Napolitano pasta here. Absolutely delicious. The pizza is one of the best we have found in Italy. Decent prices. Just don't get the sparkling wine.

β β β β β Junk food level ingredients and bad service. Dirty toilets and a peasant style attitude.
