Excellent local Tuscan cuisine, welcoming place and friendly staff. Peposo nothing short of fabulous, I recommend it if you want to try the local cuisine, even the good quality wine!

Idea geniale la lavagnetta con il menú che viene proposta ai tavoli.
Very kind and easy-going staff, Ms. Moira a great host. Excellent food, recommended the Tuscan ribs, the peposo and as a dessert the sbrisolona and ricotta crumble.
A brilliant idea is the slate with the menu that is proposed at the tables.

Mi sono fermato a cena alla locanda ed ho scoperto questo posto spettacolare. Servizio impeccabile. La ragazza che ci ha servito veramente gentile e simpatica.
Come portate consiglio il PEPOSO, uno spezzatino cotto 7 ore, tenerissimo.
Da assaggiare anche l'amaro a fine pasto fatto da loro, delizioso!
Quando ripasserò da Colle Val D'Elsa tornerò sicuramente qua!
I came to Colle to do SENTIERELSA, a very beautiful river path.
I stopped for dinner at the inn and discovered this spectacular place. Impeccable service. The girl who served us really kind and nice.
How to serve I recommend the PEPOSO, a stew cooked for 7 hours, very tender.
Also to taste the bitter after a meal made by them, delicious!
When I come back from Colle Val D'Elsa I will definitely come back here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stay away!!! Horrible food directly from the microwave oven. We could not finish our meals, even though we were really hungry. The place was totally empty when we came. Now we know why, and it also proof the you should not always trust reviews... they were all nice and recommended the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall good experience at this Tuscan restaurant. The menu is on a chalk board because everything is made fresh each day and it shows. Tried multiple dishes. The presentation was nice and flavor generally fine, but not necessarily notable. The exception was the pesto tortellini stuffed with ricotta cheese. That was fantastic and full of flavor. The house white wine was delicious, but would recommend a Chianti if you prefer a red. Prices were reasonable.
