We shared numerous dishes that everyone in the party enjoyed thoroughly. Would recommend Locanda del Postino to all visitors to the beautiful island of Prochida.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favorite place all year to go in Procida. No frills, simple food, relaxing atmosphere. Be prepared to wait but ask for a carafe of wine and sit on the benches amonstvthe boats and cats and watch the world go by. This is not a place to go if you're used to fancy restaurants or quick service. Everyone who works there is part of the family and it feels that way. Enjoy the fritelle di alici, alici fritte, pasta with clams or muscles or any of the fresh fish. The gnocchi are out of sight as well.

And the food: fresh, tasty, original and traditional at the same time.
The location offers great view, too.

This place is in an unbeatable situation on the Corricella beach in front of the fishing nets and my husband was looking forward to eating some good fish. After waiting for 45 minutes the local grilled fish they served was dry and VERY small. When the bill came they charged us for half a kilo of fish!! (€20 with no garnish) We live in the Mediterranean and we know how much fish weighs . This one was no more than 300 grams.
To be fair my spaghetti with mussels was OK. My advice - stick with the pasta or try somewhere else

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A first Spring day on the island of Procida and in the Coricella harbor only La Locanda del Postino was open. So we and all the other visitors just had to eat there. It was amazing to see how this sweet Italia family did the job. They kept everybody happy and we all were happy there under the first warm sun rays. Every table was set with a clean table cloth and napkins and there came the food already. The freshest marinated alici ever, zepolinas da Procida, paccheri alla Genevese, tonno alla griglia, local wine and sorbetto al limone. All fresh and well made honest food. What a miracle. We will be back.
