Very nice staff who explained the history of the balsamic vinegar and let us try the ones we asked about. Such a great location in Modena, it was easier to reach than an acetaia was for us this trip. Highly recommend! Grazie mille!

If you’re ever in Modena, do not miss visiting this place. I highly recommend it for an aceto balsamico tasting, leaving you with so many emotions with every spoonful. We ended up buying an excellent option. Giovanna was so knowledgeable in aceto balsamico, and accompanied us through tasting all the different types while explaining the reasoning behind each explosion of flavor. Truly excellent.

Such a fantastic experience. The lady who did the tasting with us was so professional and friendly and very knowledgeable. We could tell she is passionate about sharing traditional products with those who appreciate it and we walked away with not only a wonderful experience, new knowledge and appreciation but also a fantastic balsamic vinegar. Cannot recommend this store enough!

What a great experience! The lady there gave us a history of balsamic in Modena, explained and showed how it’s made, and gave us several tastings! We bought 3 bottles so good!

We had a really great experience tasting different balsamic vinegars ! We learned so much about the production of balsamic vinegars and how to use them in cooking . I never knew the flavors could be so unique and distinct . For only 5 euros and a few minutes you can learn a lot and take home a really original gift from Modena .

If you’ve only every had store bought (balsamic) vinegar this is the place to go. We tasted several traditional balsamic vinegars which were hand selected by the shop, they have a variety of vinegars from all the makers in the region. We were helped really well by the people in the shop and bought a delicious traditional balsamic vinegar to take home. Afterwards we even went and got some ice cream to try with the vinegar which is highly recommended for an interesting flavour experience. Next time I’m in the area (and my new vinegar is almost finished) I’ll definitely return here again!

A truly wonderful experience. Rossella was very welcoming and friendly, explained to us the difference and the finer details of traditionally aged balsamic vinegar. If you are ever in Modena, you have got to visit La Consorteria 1966. We left with 2 bottles; a 25yo & 12yo.
