 Very tasty ice cream, nice service and a great view over Altomonte and the surrounding area. Right next to the beautiful church of Santa Maria della Consolazione. Definitely worth a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Facendo un giro ad Altomonte, mi sono diretto in questo posto dove c’è una terrazza molto bella dove si vede tutto il paese, e girando su me stesso ho visto questa gelateria molto carina.
Preso dalla curiosità sono entrato e sono rimasto colpito dal suo gelato, che una volta assaggiato ho potuto confermare che il gelato è artigianale.
Produce molti gusti e consiglio di provare un gelato che penso solo lui produce...
Ovvero arancia e cannella..
Consiglio vivamente di fare un giro e provare il gelato.

Presso la gelateria "La Città del sole" antistante la basilica, abbiamo avuto la piacevole sorpresa di degustare un gelato squisito. Uno dei migliori che abbia mai mangiato. Abbiamo fatto 85 km per arrivare ad Altomonte ma ne è valsa la pena.
We were a few days ago with friends visiting Altomonte, a beautiful town with the wonderful church of Santa Maria della Consolazione.
At the "La Città del sole" ice cream parlor in front of the basilica, we had the pleasant surprise of tasting an exquisite ice cream. One of the best I've ever eaten. We did 85 km to get to Altomonte but it was worth it.
