Degustazione con illustrazione delle caratteristiche dei vini prodotti biologicamente con annessa visita delle cantine. Vale la pena fare una sosta. Beautiful experience with excellent explanation of the history of the Rava family and the work required to make a good wine. Tasting with illustration of the characteristics of organically produced wines with an adjoining visit to the cellars. It is worth a stop.

La formula che abbiamo scelto prevedeva 5 calici con tagliere di salumi e formaggi. I vini assaggiati (Chardonnay, Grignolino, Freisa, Barbera acciaio e Barbera barrique) erano interessanti e si abbinavano perfettamente alle pietanze proposte. Abbiamo assaggiato anche la frittata alle erbe tipica che ci ha incuriosito. Prima della degustazione abbiamo fatto un giro nella loro cantina letteralmente scavata sotto terra e costruita a partire dal 1700. Nella cantina sono conservati diversi attrezzi da lavoro che venivano utilizzati nell'antichità. Molto curioso l'infernot che è una parte della cantina ancora più profonda dove conservono le magnum di spumante. Margherita ci ha raccontato la storia della sua famiglia e lo ha fatto proprio con passione. Ci torneremo! We did a tasting at this winery last weekend. The formula we chose consisted of 5 glasses with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses. The wines tasted (Chardonnay, Grignolino, Freisa, Barbera steel and Barbera barrique) were interesting and matched perfectly with the proposed dishes. We also tasted the typical herb omelette that intrigued us. Before the tasting we toured their cellar literally dug underground and built starting in the 1700s. In the cellar there are various work tools that were used in ancient times. Very curious is the infernot which is a part of the still deeper cellar where they keep the sparkling wine magnums. Margherita told us the story of her family and she did it with passion. We will be back!

Margherita ci ha condotto nella sua cantina, nell'infernot e nella dimora di famiglia per farci conoscere il loro lavoro, il vino ed il territorio! Consigliatissimo e torneremo a trovarvi la prossima volta che saremo a Cella Monte! What a beautiful Saturday morning spent in La Casaccia! Margherita took us to her cellar, to the infernot and to the family home to let us know their work, the wine and the territory! Highly recommended and we will come back to see you next time we are in Cella Monte!

Posto davvero da non perdere, molto particolare e speciale. Superb and wonderful cellar in the infernot. Truly magnificent place, full of history. Super nice and good owner in the cellar. Really place not to be missed, very particular and special.

I was given a tour of the wine making and bottling facilities and was extremely impressed with the quality and history that was explained. Varietals include Grignolino, Monferrato, Barbera, Chardonnay and Spumante. The courtyard is lovely and covered with flowers and the bottling/fermenting/storage activities underground were impressive. Many of the walls are carved from the local calceranite (soft limestone) that is from this region. There is also a bed and breakfast associated that i would love to stay at. The family was so kind on the tour. Call ahead as I'm not sure of their availability for tours but if you are in the area don't miss it.
