Unique restaurant in a unique place. From fairytale. The courtesy of the staff is fantastic, as is their extreme professionalism. The food is outstanding, as is the atmosphere. Amazing place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Già solo per l ubicazione, meriterebbe 5 stelle: il ristorante è situato in un antico borgo ristrutturato, a pochi chilometri da sellano, delizioso paesino nel cuore dell'Umbria. A pochi metri, nel borgo, si trova un magnifico relais, dove abbiamo soggiornato.
Come ripeto, l'atmosfera è surreale, i piatti sono tutti a base classica, ma rivisitata.
Le porzioni non sono abbondanti, ma dato il contorno non lo considero assolutamente un difetto. Consigliato, soprattutto per le fughe di coppia, ma anche per una cena atipica tra amici.
Already for the location alone, it deserves 5 stars: the restaurant is located in an ancient renovated village, a few kilometers from Sellano, a delightful village in the heart of Umbria. A few meters away, in the village, there is a magnificent relais, where we stayed.
As I repeat, the atmosphere is surreal, the dishes are all classic, but revisited.
The portions are not abundant, but given the side dish I do not consider it absolutely a fault. Recommended, especially for couple getaways, but also for an atypical dinner with friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is vastly overrated. Tastes are rather bland, combinations are not always succesful. The dishes are too intricate, whereas the Italian cuisine is at its best when chefs are confident enough to keep things simple. The visuals seem more important than taste. And for 150 Euro/couple, this wasn’t exactly a bargain. We had a far superior meal in a Michelin-starred restaurant during our Italy-trip for the same price. And many other delicious meals for a fraction.
