★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to share what happened there. We wanted to look into the restaurant and see the view. A member of the staff looked at us top to bottom and refused in a way that was shocking. As if we were not good enough for the place.
It was noon and no customers yet si really weird
Not what you expect from such a restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a hidden gem! We enjoyed, devoured and now will pine for each dish. Truly a special experience. 5+ stars. Note that you can’t arrive by car - you will need to park & walk or call them for a ride in their electric golf cart. The old town is charming with friends singing and children playing soccer way past their bedtime. Thanks you, Porta di Basso for a highlight evening.

The food is surprising and intriguing.
Good selection of not-obvious and interesting wines.
Not cheap, but great value for money..
One negative remark: 2euros for the seat (coperto). It is preposterous for the quality of this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of our favorite restaurants of Italy. Quality of food and taste were superb. The service was excellent too. We did the tasting menu and wine pairing, it was wonderful and worth every penny. We have the table by the window and enjoyed the amazing scenery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service and wonderful location. Definitely good value for money. We had the chef's fish only menu which was very tasty and generous. Perhaps my expectations were a bit high so I would give it 9/10. I definitely recommend as a positive fine dining experience ?
