★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On our way to the Salt Museum in Trapani, along the coast road, we stopped in a small village with 2 cafe bakeries next to each other. After a quick Google search La Casa Del Pane had a higher score so we went in. The cafe has 2 large glass counters for hot meals and sandwiches, cakes etc. There's seating inside and outside and it was quite busy.
The girl at the counter was very helpful, keen to speak English, and explained what everything was. We went for a couple of salami and cheese sandwiches on her recommendation (which we noticed most other people were eating) and we're not disappointed. They were really very good and clearly made everything fresh. We also tried a ricotta cheesecake that I'd recommend.
