★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Continua a essere, a distanza di anni un "porto sicuro" per chi voglia mangiare bene, con ingredienti di qualità, senza tuttavia rinunciare a un pizzico di rustica eleganza, con la cortesia e la disponibilità del personale (il figlio della sempre splendida signora Adriana, padrona di casa affabile e sempre sorridente, è intenzionato a seguire il solco di famiglia: buon per tutti noi). Atmosfera da castelli tradizionale ma non "caciarona" ci andavo già più di venti anni fa, nel precedente e più "angusto" locale. Ci sono tornato sabato scorso, con la famiglia che nel tempo si è modificata: una garanzia. Il prezzo è assolutamente competitivo e fa venire voglia di ritornare a trovarli senza ulteriore indugio. Dagli antipasti (zucchine alla velletrana su tutti) ai primi (dovrò assaggiare prima o poi anche la cacio e pepe alle erbe aromatiche, ma mi faccio tentare sempre da altre delizie) ai secondi (abbacchio disossato alla cacciatora buonissimo, vedi i primi), senza dimenticare i dolci (il millefoglioline è eccezionale) e pure i distillati della casa! Anche il vino cosiddetto della casa, è davvero buono. Insomma, quando ci vuole ci vuole: complimenti e grazie! E a presto.
 After many years it continues to be a "safe haven" for those who want to eat well, with quality ingredients, without however renouncing a pinch of rustic elegance, with the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff (the son of the always splendid Mrs. Adriana , friendly hostess and always smiling, is willing to follow the family path: good for all of us). Atmosphere of traditional castles but not "caciarona" I already went there more than twenty years ago, in the previous and more "narrow" room. I went back last Saturday, with the family that has changed over time: a guarantee. The price is absolutely competitive and makes you want to come back and visit them without further delay. From appetizers (zucchini alla velletrana above all) to first courses (sooner or later I will also have to taste the cheese and pepper with aromatic herbs, but I always let myself be tempted by other delights) to second courses (boneless lamb alla cacciatora very good, see the first ones), without forget the desserts (the millefoglioline is exceptional) and even the house spirits! Even the so-called house wine is really good. In short, when it takes it takes: congratulations and thanks! And see you soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the luck of trying Adriana's welcoming, cozy place and divine cooking skills just last Thursday. She has the capacity of giving new life to very simple and traditional ingredients, and in all truth La Briciola was the only place in or around Rome where we managed to eat a 4 course meal, albeit with generous portions, still feeling 'light' afterwards (and we do generally listen to Gambero Rosso and Michelin reviews...).
The lovely and peaceful hilly area is also a plus, and has a great view on the Capital. A truly remarkable experience!
