S	Silvia Sellerio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un negozio di filati proprio all'antica, piccolissimo e con un assortimento un pochino datato (ci trovate per lo più i classici filati "da maglione"; ultimamente si cominciano a vedere i self-striping, ma non aspettatevi specialty yarns particolarmente esotici!) E poi, sì, come hanno già segnalato altre persone, c'è una sola persona dietro il banco, che non parla inglese e non so nemmeno se accetti la carta di credito, e spesso si trova il negozio chiuso. Perché, allora, il punteggio pieno? Perché tante persone (me compresa!) amano questo negozio e ci tornano sempre? Principalmente per affetto verso la sig.ra Mirella, che è un po' la nonnina di tutte le sferruzzatrici milanesi, ed è sempre disposta a dare un consiglio. E poi perché si trovano prodotti che sono sì un po' datati, ma sempre di ottima qualità, e a un prezzo più che onesto. Insomma: gli hand-dyed in pelo di canguro variegati in 10 colori li ordino online... qui ci vengo per il piacere di "buttare via" una decina di minuti chiacchierando con una vera esperta. In fondo, almeno quando si tratta di hobby, la fretta dovrebbe essere bandita! ;-) A yarn shop just old-fashioned, very small and with an assortment a bit dated (you find mostly the classics "from sweater" yarns; lately we begin to see the self-striping, but do not expect specialty yarns particularly exotic!) And then, yes, as other people have already reported, there is only one person behind the counter, who does not speak English and I don't even know if you accept the credit card, and often the closed shop is found. Why, then, the perfect score? Why do so many people (including me!) Love this store and we always come back? Mainly out of affection for Mrs. Mirella, who is a bit of the grandmother of all the Milanese knitters, and is always willing to give advice. And why are products which are indeed a bit 'dated, but always top quality, and at a more than fair price. In short: the hand-dyed in kangaroo hair variegated in 10 colors I order them online ... here I come for the pleasure of "throwing away" about ten minutes chatting with a real expert. After all, at least when it comes to hobbies, haste should be banned! ;-)

E	Elena Benassi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conosco la signora Mirella da una vita, andavo da lei con mia nonna a comprare filati pregiati e di ottima qualità, è una signora molto gentile e competente ed è facile trovarla che sferruzza in negozio nei momenti liberi, così mostra alle clienti i capi che si realizzano con i filati in vendita. Il suo è un negozio piccolino ma ha un assortimento da fare invidia ad un grande magazzino! Confesso che spesso vado a trovarla, oltre che per fare acquisti, per guardare la meravigliosa tavolozza di colori che i gomitoli creano sugli scaffali e mi sento a casa. I have known Mrs. Mirella for a lifetime, I used to go to her with my grandmother to buy fine and high quality yarns, she is a very kind and competent lady and it is easy to find her knitting in the shop in her free moments, so she shows the customers the garments that she they make with the yarns for sale. His is a small shop but it has an assortment that rivals a department store! I confess that I often go to see her, as well as to shop, to look at the wonderful palette of colors that the balls create on the shelves and I feel at home.

She was helping a customer so I stood there, just waiting, because all the wall wool bins have “do not touch” written on them. I didn’t see the kind of specialty yarn I was looking for, so I left as more customers entered. Clearly a popular shop.
