★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partito da rosticceria e trasformato in un ristorantino con possibilità di rosticceria/asporto.
In una prima fase, molto positiva, trattandosi di un ristorantino/trattoria, era caratterizzato da ambiente spartano, niente menù, pochissimi piatti in base, credo, al pescato del giorno, tutti buoni e a prezzi molto bassi.
Successivamente, il livello è calato progressivamente e inesorabilmente, i prezzi sono saliti abbastanza, ed infine è caduto nel baratro più totale con scene folkloristiche tra le quali: è finita la pasta, è finito il pane, è finita la pasta lunga e facciamo le farfalle allo scoglio, il proprietario/cuoco che esplode di rabbia per chissà quale motivo ed esce in strada bestemmiando tra i clienti, ecc.
Ora sta cercando di tornare ad un livello accettabile. La formula e la struttura è sempre la stessa, niente menù, ambiente spartano, pochi piatti ecc. ma non ci sono più le scene folkloristiche della seconda fase.
Dovrebbe abbassare i prezzi, attualmente da ristorante serio o comunque più cari di quanto si possa trovare ad Anzio a parità di livello, portandoli ai livelli di una buona trattoria di passaggio.

In a very positive first phase, being a restaurant / trattoria, it was characterized by a spartan atmosphere, no menu, very few dishes based, I think, on the catch of the day, all good and at very low prices.
Subsequently, the level has gradually and inexorably dropped, the prices have risen enough, and finally it has fallen into the most total abyss with folkloristic scenes including: the pasta is finished, the bread is finished, the long pasta is finished and we make butterflies allo scoglio, the owner / cook who explodes with anger for whatever reason and goes out on the street cursing among customers, etc.
Now he is trying to get back to an acceptable level. The formula and the structure is always the same, no menu, spartan atmosphere, few dishes etc. but the folkloristic scenes of the second phase are no longer there.
It should lower the prices, currently from a serious restaurant or in any case more expensive than what can be found in Anzio at the same level, bringing them to the levels of a good passing trattoria.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ristorante a Lavinio con tavoli sia interni che esterni. La posizione e la struttura del locale di per se potrebbe non convincerti ma accoglienza e cibo ti fanno cambiare idea. Hanno un menù col pescato del giorno quindi non si può scegliere ma il cibo è molto buono. Abbiamo preso una Fettuccina agli scampi, una allo scoglio e una frittura di calamari e gamberi. Sono rimasta soddisfatta. Prezzi Bassi per la qualità del cibo.
Restaurant in Lavinio with both indoor and outdoor tables. The location and the structure of the restaurant in itself might not convince you but hospitality and food make you change your mind. They have a menu with the catch of the day so you can't choose but the food is very good. We had a Fettuccina with prawns, one with seafood and a fried squid and prawns. I was satisfied. Low prices for the quality of the food.

Prodotti freschi e ottima cucina, rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale (10€ una frittura, 10/12€ anche i primi).
Consiglio vivamente la frittura di calamari e gamberi e quella di alici, deliziose.
Possibilità di ordinare piatti da asporto da gustare direttamente in spiaggia.
Buoni anche i contorni che hanno in vetrina.

At 300 meters from the main square of Lavinio, you will find this small, simple and informal restaurant.
Fresh products and excellent cuisine, exceptional value for money (10 € a fry, 10/12 € also the first courses).
I highly recommend the fried calamari and prawns and anchovies, delicious.
Possibility to order take-away dishes to be enjoyed directly on the beach.
The side dishes in the window are also good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've eaten here two times and it was delicious, the prices were reasonable, the waiters were very friendly and patient and by the way, I ate calamari, fish, mussels, potatoes and shrimps. If I will visit Lavinio one or a few more times, I want to eat here to 100% again.
