★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was horrible. The waiter was overly rude and kept ignoring all we asked for. He tried to force us to order what he suggested and in the end he did not bring half of the things we ordered and did not even apologized. The attitude was intolerable. To top everything, the bathrooms were disgustingly dirty, a reflection of the lack of igiene on the kitchen. Overall, it was a nightmare. The worst restaurant experience in two weeks of vacation in Sicily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very popular restaurant with a lot of people arriving by car (very little parking on street, though) so booking is strongly advised. We hadn't booked as staying nearby and, so, were not able to sit at the forefront of the terrace but still had a nice outside table.. Attentive and friendly service but little/no English spoken if you have any questions. The mixed seafood antipasti is best to share (we had it between 3) and sets the scene well. Great selection of fresh fish cooked to order; other dishes available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were a party of four of which 3 work in hospitality. This is a great find if you're wondering how bad the service can be in Sicily. Unnecessary unpleasantness, plates being thrown from afar, no effort whatsoever to understand you even though we speak basic Italian. Santa Tecla is a lovely village with little restaurant options and the amount of locals eating there is what attracted us. It was somehow comforting seeing it wasn't only the tourists being treated badly. The cuisine is mediocre at best except for the divine Chef's special which is a spaghetti con frutti di mare. To be avoided unless you're into masochism. Oh, and Covid-19 does not exist in this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the Sicilian equivalent of a Chinese all you can eat buffet: yes the food is ok but the concept of serving more than one could possibly eat is just not a thing I like or support. Staff is friendly and the locals seem to like it but again: not my choice. Dishes generally don't include any side dishes at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for lunch on a Saturday (ie, expect large families with kids). Fish and seafood were super fresh. In fact the antipasti were so generous, it was hard to finish our pasta dishes afterwards. Spaghetti alle vongole was good though a bit too oily in my opinion. The chef's special was okay despite slightly overcooked calamari. Wine was great, service was fast and price very reasonable.
