Ate here on our second night in Italy. The wait staff and owner made us feel at home even though we speak no Italian. Owner loves to make everyone feel welcome even if you're a stranger. Food was great, the home made house wine was amazing, very reasonable prices. Lots of regulars here and I know why. I look forward to coming back before I leave Rome, and if I make it back to the city in the future.

The first time I laid my eyes on this place Sunday, I knew it must be good. Sunday after church hour, the restaurant was full of family tables. Love that warm feelings with the boss smiling and explaining (in Italian along with hand gestures) that there is no table for 1. I came back today, the boss remembered! He welcomed me with the cutest smile and sat me on the special 1 person table to eat along the neighbors. Homemade fettuccine in ragu was perfect; the broccoli rabe sautéed with red chilli pepper was perfect. Neighbors eating together over homemade food ... better than any fancy restaurant food. Love this place❣️

This is why we love Italian food. So pure, so full of flavour, so good. Grazie mille!

We stumbled across this place by chance, and it was perfect, having previously joked about the need for gingham table cloths, candles and traditional food for our final night's food. It had neither gingham or candles, but did have a lovely waiter and beautiful food for a very reasonable price. We since read about what a gem of a place it is, but we found it by accident as we stayed very nearby. When we return to Rome, we would definitely seek it out for a good meal, without the bright lights and fuss that often accompanies restaurants. I had a craving for Carbonara all day and it was gorgeous and my husband ate the special of wild boar bolognese...fantastic. ?

Typical family run restaurant with no fuss and most importantly...no tourists. Way off the beaten track this place offers an authentic experience and of course...food to die for. The pasta dishes were delicious, unfortunately we didn't get to try out the pizza. Pro tip, don't skip dessert...the tiramisu and the lemon sorbet are an experience. I can also recommend the house wine...no headaches in a test group of 5

Awesome small family owned restaurant. You could tell the pasta was fresh and was really tasty! The wine and food were both served in lovely patterned tableware. The tiramisu was to die for - best I’ve ever had - also homemade! In total, it cost us €46 euros for a small starter, 1/2 litre of red wine, two pasta mains and two deserts - great value! Would definitely return :)
