An ancient art workshop where people still work with love. Prints of various kinds and sizes. Very beautiful the botanical and the glimpses of Florence.

The ancient technique of "Etching" is made Contemporary by the skills of Duccio and the Father and is well combined with other artisan creativity. They are very good, I recommend you visit their shop.

Strolling through via Santo, Spirito, in the historic district of the Florentine artisans, one cannot fail to stop in front of this shop that has been carrying out the ancient etching technique for more than 40 years. Gianni Raffaelli, together with his wife Francesca and his son Duccio, realizes his works by manually engraving them on copper plates, then printing them on fine paper in a limited edition. The prints are then hand-colored, signed, and numbered by the author and combined with handcrafted frames made according to taste and experience. It is a thrill to see with how much dedication the owners create their works. ?

Ordered a beautiful etching via their Instagram page. The son of the family who own this shop was so helpful and had the etching ready for me to collect. The studio is stunning, and their dog is adorable. Would definitely return!
