Huge portions, supermini price. We stopped on the way back to Etna, just by chance. A place with few pretensions but it's worth it.

Non abbiamo proseguito perché le porzioni erano abbondanti ma non abbiamo rinunciato al semifreddo di pistacchio...ottimo. Torneremo per gustare la pizza. Lo consiglierò ad altri amici. Friendly and professional staff in the dining room. Excellent appetizer and first course. We did not continue because the portions were abundant but we did not give up the pistachio parfait ... excellent. We will be back to enjoy the pizza. I will recommend it to other friends. The car park is also great. Soon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conosco questa pizzeria da asporto da diverso tempo, sì trova a Santa Venerina e in una sala rustica accoglie i clienti che vogliono cenare in loco. La prenotazione è consigliata soprattutto nel weekend.
La pizza era davvero eccellente con ingredienti buoni e a prezzi accessibili, ma ultimamente la qualità è scesa per fare spazio ad aumenti di prezzi (se giustificati o no non sta a me dirlo). L'ultima esperienza che ho avuto in questa pizzeria è stata davvero scadente la pizza era poco cotta (stranamente) e la ricotta salata assomigliava di più a un pepato o a un mix di formaggi. L'impasto ai cereali non era granché in quanto o non era di più cereali o era veramente scadente. La digestione è stata lunga e molto pesante, stante a significare una lievitazione dell'impasto non fatta correttamente o non completa.
Una serata sfortunata può capitare ma ultimamente stanno diventando più di una. Personale comunque sempre gentile e disponibile. Spero che ritorni ai fasti di un tempo.
I have known this takeaway pizzeria for some time, it is located in Santa Venerina and in a rustic room it welcomes customers who want to dine on site. Reservations are recommended especially on weekends.
The pizza was really excellent with good and affordable ingredients, but lately the quality has dropped to make room for price increases (whether justified or not is not for me to say). The last experience I had in this pizzeria was really poor the pizza was undercooked (strangely) and the ricotta salata looked more like a pepper or a mix of cheeses. The cereal dough was not that great as it was either not cereal or it was really poor. Digestion was long and very heavy, meaning a leavening of the dough not done correctly or not complete.
An unfortunate evening can happen but lately they are becoming more than one. However, the staff are always polite and helpful. I hope it returns to the glories of the past.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We happened upon this restaurant cause it was close to our B&B, and we definitely were not disappointed. The service was great and so was the food. As a starter we shared their classic Brushcetta and their Bruschetta ai funghi (they used fresh mushrooms which made all the difference). Then we tried their pizzas and their signature pan focaccias. They were very filling (took the leftovers for a picnic the day after) but super delicious. I'd highly recommend a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some seriously good pizza! The house special focaccia is very different from your traditional focaccia and is a must try in my opinion. Very filling and huge pizzas with extremely reasonable prices. Highly recommend restaurant!
