★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Domenico and I go every year when we are in Ortigia.Lino and Francesco are warm, friendly and they have A great knowledge of the food that is on offer.A platter of meats and cheeses with a glass of local white wine is a wonderful lunch.The ricotta is the best I have tasted.Well worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small but solid choice for a quick bite either before or after visiting the adjacent Pantheon. The panini are all top notch and not very small. Prosciutto, peppers and mozzarella with a touch of olio and balsamico for me please!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little place in the middle of Ortigia. They have both cheap (and nice) beer and wine, as well a selection of more expensive wines and craft beers (which are still good value in my opinion).
The tasting platter was lovely - great quality local produce and definitely worth the €6. It's perhaps not a place to have your evening meal, but for aperitivo and drinks you can't do better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experince in Sicilia! Went to eat an "aperitivo" (6 euro/pers). I told the guy I want an " aperitivo" and pay with card. He told me that that sometimes the card reader doesn't work. "Ok, but at least try. Put 6 euro and see if it works". He was very rude and sent me to an ATM. Dude, if you don't want to make money, close that business. Sry, but never ever again! 6 euro= 2 slices of mortadella, 2 of coppa, 4 almost invisible slices of cheese and some olives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't agree with some of the lowly reviews of this place. Our server was attentive and helpful, he spoke decent English and dealt with our indecision well. It's more of a get what you're given type of deal with the food which is the hallmark of a specialist trader - I feel, if you have specific requirements you should definitely ask first. Personally we felt the lack of menu contributed to the authenticity, unless we were duped... The salamis and cheeses presented were delicious and varied (much better than others we tried on ortigia) the bread was fresh, soft and warmed which is less than can be said of some of the other Siracusian establishments we sampled. Great for a snack before dinner / aperetivos

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it was the most horrible experience!! I hade food poisoning after I ate their. Avoid this place far away! When I was going to the toilette and I saw how dirty is everything I was socked! I would give MINUS 5 stars!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the pizzolo at this restaurant which was nice but nothing particularly special or amazing. We weren’t given a menu with the prices. I would definitely say it was either overpriced for what we had or we were overcharged - and would likely recommend visiting elsewhere. We were also given plastic cups for our drinks which was a bit strange for a restaurant.
I wouldn’t come back as I think there are better lunch options in the area at a more affordable pricing.
