Era diventato una pappetta con cozze e vongole e tutte le teste dei gamberi con cui hanno fatto il sugo. Abbiamo ordinato la frittura chiedendo se fosse possibile solo calamari. Dicono di sì,la portano piena di gamberetti piccolissimi e dicono vabbè dai so 4 gamberetti. Cioè,se l'ho chiesto di un modo perché devi impormi quello che dici tu? Avete perso parecchi clienti... ah,ma gli antipasti e i dolci all'ingresso,senza una copertura,alla mano di tutti,anche delle mosche ????? Orribile,igiene zero! Addio The worst lunch of my life ... Personale veloce, presente, accogliente e professionale. Il pesce era fresco ed i piatti squisiti. Proprietario gentile e disponibile. Torneremo sicuramente.

Ci hanno consigliato di ordinare un "misero" antipasto nell'attesa del primo, altro errore, in quanto persone che sono arrivate dopo di noi senza ordinare l'antipasto hanno ricevuto il primo abbondantemente prima di noi. Le cose non sono migliorate con l'arrivo del primo (paccheri all'ancora) insapore e non di buona qualità, tanto da non terminarlo. Mentre gli spaghetti allo scoglio non erano male. Altro punto negativo il cameriere "anziano" che ha preso la comanda che non ha mostrato nessuna attenzione nei nostri confronti ed è stato anche un po' scortese. Nel complesso esperienza negativa. J	Jake McGrath on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love L'Ancora. This is my favorite place to eat every time I go to the Gaeta & Formia region. The owner is always very nice, and the food is always amazing. I've never had a bad dish here, although my favorite is the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina.

Even though we don't speak a single word Italian the waiter showed us pictures of his girl dog (we had our dog with us), and was very welcoming. We had a really pleasant stay felt really comfortable and at ease. The food was really good as well.
