★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nel 1950 il Sig. Giovanni Rivoira fondo’ la societa’ “Rivoira” con i fratelli Andrea e Michele. Tale societa’ inizialmente si dedico’ alla produzione di mele e pesche, distribuendo sui mercati del Nord Italia l’intera produzione. Il primo frigorifero fu costruito nel 1954 in Falicetto (nel comune di Verzuolo).
Per quei tempi e in particolar modo per la Provincia di Cuneo, si trattava di una importante struttura con una capacita’ frigorifera di 3.000 q.li. Un anno dopo furono esportati i primi quantitativi di mele e pesche in Francia, Germania e Algeria.
In 1950 Mr. Giovanni Rivoira founded the company "Rivoira" with his brothers Andrea and Michele. This company initially dedicated itself to the production of apples and peaches, distributing the entire production to the markets of Northern Italy. The first refrigerator was built in 1954 in Falicetto (in the municipality of Verzuolo).
For those times and especially for the Province of Cuneo, it was an important structure with a cooling capacity of 3,000 quintals. A year later the first quantities of apples and peaches were exported to France, Germany and Algeria.

Carico da 20 tonnellate arrivato a Sidney dall'azienda Kiwi Uno.....l'ufficio sanitario aeroportuale ha vuto trattare il carico perché contenente larva di tarme pericolose per le coltivazioni. Fortunatamente hanno solo trattato, fumigando, il carico e non distrutto la merce come spesso fanno....in ogni caso l'Italia non ha fatto una bella figura
