★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbastanza antipatico il proprietario, sentirsela "calla" per un buco puzzolente di negozio pieno di roba mezza marcia mi pare ridicolo.
Quite unpleasant the owner, feeling "calla" because of a smelly shop hole full of half-gear stuff seems ridiculous to me.

My favorite used shop in Rome. A vintage that knows how to be punk and that doesn't fear hipster and radical chic. Warm and informal atmosphere. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vintage di ottima qualità, con un assortimento non da poco per l'abbigliamento uomo, oltre che donna, e soprattutto accessori interessanti direttamente dagli anni 80-90. L'ambiente è rilassante e si trova vicino al mitico Necci. Mackie Messer val bene una visita a Pigneto!
Vintage high quality, with an assortment not just for human clothing, as well as women, and especially interesting accessories directly from the years 80-90. The environment is relaxing and is located near the mythical Necci. Mackie Messer is well worth a visit to Pigneto!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mackie Messer porta al Pigneto la tradizione vintage dei negozi del centro storico (non a caso il suo gestore viene proprio da una lunga militanza tra quei banchi): ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo (soprattutto per le borse ma anche per cappotti e vestiti per occasioni particolari), arrivi di novità tutte le settimane e anche possibilità di piccole modifiche sartoriali.
E, cosa da non sottovalutare, ottima musica in sottofondo con la web radio RadioBoh.
Andando a prendere un caffè da Necci o vedendo una mostra da Laszlo Biro, sarebbe proprio un peccato non buttarci un occhio.
Mackie Messer brings to the Pigneto the vintage tradition of the shops in the historic center (not surprisingly its manager comes from a long militancy among those benches): excellent value for money (especially for bags but also for coats and dresses for special occasions ), new arrivals every week and also the possibility of small tailoring changes.
And, not to be underestimated, excellent music in the background with the RadioBoh web radio.
Going for a coffee from Necci or seeing an exhibition by Laszlo Biro, it would be a shame not to throw an eye.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il proprietario gentile e alla mano, propositivo e non troppo invadente. Il locale può sembrare angusto ma è agevole e intimo. Impossibile non trovare il capo adatto. Molto fornito e ottimi prezzi per quello che offre. Ottimo lavoro!!
The owner is kind and easy-going, proactive and not too intrusive. The venue may seem cramped but it is comfortable and intimate. Impossible not to find the right garment. Very stocked and great prices for what it offers. Good job!!
