★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malerisch gelegene Burgruine mit intaktem und gut erhaltenem Bergfried, der nur leider außer Montag täglich geschlossen ist. Er wird vom Museum Passeier aus betrieben, dass täglich geöffnet ist außer Montag: wodurch die Erklärung auf der Hand liegt: Personalmangel.
Quaint castle ruins with intact and well-preserved keep, which is unfortunately only closed except Monday daily. It is operated by the Museum Passeier, which is open every day except Monday: which makes the explanation obvious: staff shortage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wunderbar, wie die Burgruine jetzt aussieht. Früher waren nur die Turmspitze zu sehen, weil die Bäume fast alles verdeckte. Heute ist die Sicht wieder frei. Nach der Restaurierung sind auch die wunderbaren Fresken wieder zu sehen. Die Ausstellung ist gut aufgebaut und gibt einen wunderbaren Eindruck von der Geschichte der Burg und deren Besitzern.
Wonderful, what the castle ruins look like now. Previously, only the spire could be seen, because the trees covered almost everything. Today the view is free again. After the restoration, the wonderful frescoes can also be seen again. The exhibition is well structured and gives a wonderful impression of the history of the castle and its owners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dell'antico castello è rimasta solo una torre che è aperta solo il lunedì dalle 10.00 alle 13.00 da Giugno a Settembre. Noi l'abbiamo trovato chiuso, ma si gode comunque di una splendida vista panoramica sulla valle Passiria.
Of the castle it remained only a tower that is only open on Mondays from 10.00 to 13.00 from June to September. We found it closed, but still enjoys a splendid panoramic view of the Passiria valley.

Il castello, originario del XIII secolo,era la splendida corte dei Signori di Passiria, ministeriali dei Tirolo.
Passato ai Fuchs, venne abbandonato nel XVIII secolo e trasformato ad uso agricolo.
Restaurato nel Duemila, è visitabile da giugno a settembre, al lunedì dalla 13 alle 16.30 ( nel 2020 starà però chiuso tutto l'anno) al costo di 2 euro.
È famoso perché è li che vennero ritrovate molte opere d'arte che nella seconda guerra mondiale i tedeschi stavano cercando di trafugare.
Of the beautiful frescoed castle of Jaufenburg, today only the keep remains.
The castle, originally from the 13th century, was the splendid court of the Lords of Passiria, ministerial of the Tyrol.
Passed to the Fuchs, it was abandoned in the 18th century and converted for agricultural use.
Restored in 2000, it can be visited from June to September, on Mondays from 1pm to 4.30pm (in 2020, however, it will be closed all year) at a cost of 2 euros.
It is famous because it is there that many works of art were found that the Germans were trying to steal in the Second World War.
